"The place is clearly a newly rennovated farm building, perhaps to the extent of being a re-build on an existing foot print. It looks like there might end up being around 8 rental properties on site. "We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Barn , it was spacious and clean and the location was perfect for the purpose of our trip , to visit family in the area. Its location on the lake and nearby Hicks cycle centre make it a great base for outdoor activities too. My son really enjoyed fishing and would have made more use of the lake if the weather had not been so wet !"

"Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again."

"The horses cab was very cute and well designed, spotless and cosy.Very relaxing place, the views of waking upIn the morning with the horses are amazing. Also have pigs, a little pony that is very friendly and trots around in the open. Owners were friendly polite and very helpful on call with anything you needed help with. Even had a lovely wood fire whilst watching the stars. Recommend highly for a relaxing weekend break. Will be going back forSure. Thank you"

"The pod was a great size (family of 3), clean, had everything you needed and more. The attention to detail with the added reception area with games/dvds and information was great. Our 4 year old loved the novelty of a dvd! Dominic was really helpful, felt super relaxed there and was situated perfectly for lots of family fun activities! Will deffo book again in the future. The shop across the way was lovely, we didn't use the tea room as it was closed during our stay but it looked lovely"

"The property was immaculate and spacious in a lovely quiet area. Everything you may need for your stay is provided including a complementary bag with some breakfast and tea and coffee supplies upon arrival. Customer service was excellent.
