"We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"The setting is spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. Remote so remember to take all with you. Well stocked Co op half an hour away up small windy very beautiful mountain pass Arriving by the ferry is a must!"

"We had a week here in September (10-17th) and loved every minute. We saw otters from the shore one day and did walks in every direction from the house. The weather treated us quite kindly and we managed to be outdoors for a good part of each day without getting (too!) wet. The house was so comfortable and well set up it was always a pleasure to return to. We slept so well too…all the fresh air and a super comfy bed. A great location for exploring Skye and the Glenelg area too."

"When booking for a week, you may ask yourself if something is missing, if there will be an anomaly, if the owner is available in case of an emergency, if the description and the photos match the reality. We received all the wonderful attention from the owner, all the necessary advice for the discovery of the country. The cottage is particularly well furnished, nothing was missing. My kids (teenagers) appreciated this wonderful house. We even attended a field hockey game from the windows...
