The pictures hardly do the house justice. The house is stunning and views outstanding. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, knives. Jorge, the concierge, was attentive and kept excellent contact throughout the entire stay. He booked excursions and transportation and when we had changes, he was able to accommodate. He came by one day with fresh mangos he had bought from a roadside vendor. He made our stay entirely stress free. There are already plans to return.

We had such an amazing stay! The house and the view are breathtaking. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the beach and to many different restaurants. Our family loved the birds and monkeys that visited us! The owner and concierge were so welcoming! They did an amazing job to make our vacation unforgettable! Our family did not want to leave! A wonderful house in a great location with amazing views. Everything about the property is great. The staff was incredible as well. Jorge, the concierge, was extremely helpful with everything we needed. The cleaning/property maintenance crew was top notch, and the chef service was amazing. Mark, the property owner, was very attentive to our needs as well, and we couldn't have asked for a better option for our family vacation.

We had the most wonderful week at the villa. The location is spectacular, home was large enough to accommodate our entire 13 member family for a most memorable trip. Jorge our concierge was available to us at all times and responded almost immediately if there were any issues We also availed ourselves of the chef and kudos to Jose and Jermaine for their wonderful food preparation. They truly made our week stay memorable. We arranged all activities with Jorge the concierge and he made everything so easy for us which resulted in a memorable family vacation celebrating a special birthday. Since only five stars are available I can only rate it as five stars but truly it was a 10 plus !

Fantastic property for a large group (we had 9, using all 7 bedrooms), great location, housekeeping, and the owner even dropped by with some cookies and fresh plantains from his farm. The concierge, Jorge, was especially helpful in making everything run smoothly, from outings and dining to transportation. And almost every day we got to see capuchin and squirrel monkeys playing on the balconies, along with other wildlife. Easy access to the beach, though the walk is steep enough that one of us sometimes drove the others (especially very old or young) up and down the short road.

Best place we have ever stayed

I thought the pictures had to be exaggerated but they were spot on. Stunning views. Loved the rowdy monkeys that entertained us each morning and evening on our balconies. Concierge Jorge handled everything from taxis to groceries to atms to where to eat. He was amazing. Can’t give it enough stars.

50th Anniversary Celebration

We had an amazing stress free indulgence of no kitchen prep, no clean up duty and no taxi worry about destinations. Site fix ups had quick corrections. Imbedded around monkeys toucans parrots. Close beach to boogie board. Fun house pool for quick dip. The 15 of us all enjoyed our chef’s presentation of good eats

Found paradise in Costa Rica

Wow, where to begin in describing this beautiful villa and having the most unforgettable experience of a lifetime. This villa is stunning-tastefully decorated, spacious, and luxurious. The location was perfect! Beautiful rain forest/ocean views from the balconies. Every morning we were awakened by howler monkeys calling out from nearby trees, and we saw so many beautiful tropical birds. Mark is an exceptional host and it was such a pleasure meeting him! You can tell he really cares about his villa and providing his guest with the best service possible. His staff is amazing! Jorge was invaluable in helping me plan the trip. He was on top of everything and responded really fast! It was a great pleasure meeting him as well. What an incredible man he is! The housekeeper and grounds keeper were very nice as well, always greeting us with a friendly smile, making us feel right at home. The chefs cooked the most amazing food! Every morning we looked forward to their delicious breakfasts. This villa, Mark, the staff…what an amazing experience we had! Thank you Mark, for sharing this paradise with us and giving us the best vacation of our lifetime! This villa is a true paradise!

Family Vacation

We had my family of 13 stay here and it was very comfortable. We all loved having the monkeys visit us daily. We also saw toucans and parrots. The house was cleaned every day as was the outside pool area and we also took advantage of the laundry service. Having a chef prepare meals for us was great and I highly recommend. Overall a wonderful stay and great location. So happy we chose this house.

A In Every Way!!

Beautiful villa with amazing views. Loved being near Manual Antonino and seeing the capuchin and howler monkeys, birds of all types, and beautiful butterflies. All sleeping rooms were spacious with in suite baths. Two of them even have their own kitchens. . Rooms are each individually climate controlled so everyone could have the coolness he/she wanted. Mark (owner) and Jorge (concierge) are gracious, accommodating and very responsive. When Richard had trouble with the stairs to the primary suite in the villa, Mark arrived the next day with a cane for him to use and told him to keep it to help get home!! (so kind) The grounds man Ras and cleaning lady Sylvia were the best. Sylvia will pick up any dirty clothes left outside your bedroom and return them clean that same day. On top of all these wonderful staff, Quentin, our chef, did an amazing and beautifully presented meal for us whenever requested. Everyone enjoyed the meals and his presentations. Pool was cozy with even a swim up bar. Twice we cooked dinner outside on the gas grill which is fully equipped and even has a small fridge and swim up bar. Mark brought us some homemade cookies that he made himself three times during out stay. A special and welcome surprise! The excursions available were plenty and varied with easy catamaran party for everyone and more strenuous and adventurous options for those who wanted that. All 8 of us, from 21 to 80, loved the villa and everyone who worked there. We were never disappointed!

Amazing House

Had a wonderful time at the house. The host was fantastic, the concierge was unbelievably helpful and attentive, and the house staff were friendly and did a fantastic job. All in all, it was great. It was even more beautiful than the photos, and the location could not be better

What an incredible home! Everything was wonderful. The property is exactly as advertised with local wildlife visiting every day. The location was incredible with easy access to the beach. Manuel Antonio national Park and many adventure activities. Jorge was incredible as a concierge and helped arrange everything we needed. Daily house staff was incredible to help with cleaning, laundry, and property maintenance. We loved everything about being here.

Fantastic!!!

I can’t say enough about this gorgeous, spacious property ! The home is fabulous and the pool and surroundings are beautiful. We ate every breakfast and dinner outside on the pool patio. We utilized Chef Germaine for our breakfasts and dinners for a family of 10 and it was wonderful waking up to a wonderful, home cooked meal and coming home from the beach or an excursion and having a Chef cooked meal ready! We loved it! The location is perfect for wherever you want to go for the day. Our family participated in a lot of activities listed in the guide for the rental and we were very pleased with every one we did. They were all professionals and took pride in their tour. We had the masseuses come out 3 different days to give all 7 adults massages on the top balcony and we all agreed it’s the best ones we’ve ever had. Being outside, we could hear the crashing of the waves and that definitely helped with the relaxation. The game was with excercise equipment , pool table and foosball was also a perk. And having Sylvia keeping the house clean during the week spacious great too. Jorge!!! He booked all our excursions (and we had a bunch) added to them, deleted some, and answered all the many, many questions I had leading up to our vacation. I need a Jorge to keep my life in order in Kentucky!We met Mark the owner, who is a very gracious gentleman. He brought us home baked cookies one day!All in all, this was a fabulous vacation and it was perfect!!

Beautiful Home...Awesome Experience!

This trip was a family vacation with our 4 adult children and their significant others. Casa Vista Oceana is as beautiful as pictured. Silvia arrived each morning to keep the whole house spotless. Rodolfo kept the pool area sparkling and perfect with fresh towels daily. Chef Germaine prepared us the most delicious dinner and breakfast...the food and presentation were beyond words!! I can't say or thank Jorge enough for everything he did and arranged to make this vacation easy, relaxing and so much fun! Mark, the owner, stopped by with fresh baked cookies and fruit. So appreciated!! We would absolutely stay at Casa Vista Oceana again. Beautiful home...perfect location. The daily visit from the monkey's put smiles on all our faces...loved it!! Pura Vida!!

Paradise in Manuel Antonio

Vista Oceana is absolutely amazing. Mark and his staff are world class. The house is so beautiful and the views are second to none. Jorge, the concierge, is the best he was quick to respond to questions and book whatever we wanted our adventure to be. the house staff did a phenomenal job with the cleaning. the house is immaculate. and don't forget to get the chef, the food was delicious if your headed to Manuel Antonio just book Vista Oceana, you wont be sorry.

The house is impeccably maintained, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities you could need for a luxurious getaway.One of the highlights of our trip was the daily visits from the playful monkeys that added a unique charm to the experience. It was such a joy to watch them swinging through the trees right outside the property!Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, soaking in the views, or exploring the local area, Vista Oceana is truly a slice of paradise. We can’t recommend it highly enough and are already dreaming of our return visit!

Fabulous Manuel Antonio accommodations and location.

The house was perfect for our group. Everyone was astonished at the wildlife that visited our back door (monkeys, iguanas, sloths, toucans, hummingbirds, macaws, agouti…). The close beach access, bus route and restaurants made the location so convenient! The property and staff were first class! We would highly recommend this vrbo!
