We recently stayed at the Voted Most Romantic Villa with Private Infinity Pool Ocean View in Quepos, Costa Rica, and honestly, it was incredible.From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The villa is spotless, really well looked after, and feels super private. The infinity pool is the real highlight—the views over the ocean are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. We found ourselves just sitting there every evening taking it all in.It feels like you’re tucked away in your own little jungle paradise, with loads of wildlife around, but you’re still close enough to restaurants and Manuel Antonio if you want to head out. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient.Communication with the villa manager was easy the whole time, and anything we needed was sorted quickly (specifically checking routes down from Monteverde via the infamous Crocodile Bridge). The only thing of note to mention is the drive up to the villa is really steep, so definitely get a small-ish 4x4. We had a Nissan X-Trail which was almost too big but we made it without catching a wall. Walking up is a struggle!! But honestly, it’s worth it for the views and the privacy.Overall, we had an amazing stay and would 100% recommend it. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for something romantic, relaxing, and a bit special.

To say we had a wonderful stay is an understatement. Everything is even better than described.We have stayed at many properties over the years and this place had so much appointment to detail. Maria and the rest of the staff were helpful and lovely. Sheri was very responsive. Watching the many birds including macaws from the infinity pool was definitely a highlight! We hope to be back!

My wife and I visited for our Honeymoon and we loved the house. The view of the ocean from the deck was amazing. We enjoyed sitting there rain or shine. Maria was an amazing host during our stay. She attended to anything we needed. If you need any recommendations or things booked, she was on it.

An Unforgettable Romantic Getaway

My husband and I are well-traveled, and this property was the perfect way to end our Costa Rica trip — luxurious, romantic, and surrounded by nature. The drive up was a bit tricky, but with a 4x4 rental, it was manageable, and the views at the top were more than worth it. Maria was incredibly friendly and met us at the entrance to guide us up, which was really appreciated.The villa itself was pristine and luxurious, with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean — a view we’ll never forget. We loved spotting wildlife right from the property, including iguanas, scarlet macaws, yellow-throated toucans, and hummingbirds. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and having a coffee maker with a built-in filter was a great touch for morning coffee.We spent one day in Quepos for souvenirs, but honestly, we could’ve stayed on the property for the entire two days. The kitchen even had a blender, so we had fun mixing up some Pina Coladas with Costa Rican rum by the pool.This stay was the perfect finale to our trip — a dream come true. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Wonderful Stay

The Most Romantic Villa is a beautiful property located on the main road leading to Manuel Antonio. Everything we wanted/needed was within a 10 minute drive and, other than my initial fear driving up the steep driveway to the property, everything was perfect. The ACs worked great, the pool was relaxing, and the views were amazing. There was even a huge iguana that slid down the power lines one morning to munch on foliage by the pool! Can't wait to return!

Mountain Villa

This villa is as advertised. We could not tell from the photos if it’s private but it is VERY private and the views are spectacular. The drive off the main road is very tricky as it’s 45 degree angles of hillside with 30 degree turns. You will need a 4wd vehicle to go up and down the street to the main road. The pool and outdoor lounge areas are terrific.

Absolutely Wonderful Experience

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the property. From the amazing views, to the amenities at the house and the ease of communication and assistance from the house manager. We would 10/10 recommend this VRBO to future guests. The road up to the house was quite an adventure…make sure you have an SUV/all wheel drive to get up the hill! But 100% worth it for the views!!

Amazing Stay!!!

The pictures don’t do justice of how beautiful this villa is. The staff was friendly and very responsive, and helped with booking activities and accommodating requests. The private chef’s meal was unbelievable with a beautiful sunset in the background. The only thing I would suggest is renting your own 4x4 vehicle instead of relying on taxis. But overall, an amazing stay and highly recommend!!

Amazing place!!!

This was our second time staying here and we plan on being back. This property is the most picturesque VRBO we have ever stayed at. Amazing sunsets every night, private chef you can take advantage of, effective AC and fans, comfortable bed, good water pressure - all the little things that matter. We rented a car for the flexibility but you could also have them arrange an airport transport and taxi's during your stay. Maria is readily available and responsive. As others have noted, the drive up is quite steep and windy but you get used to it quickly.

Just .. WOW!!!

There are not enough words in the English language to describe how wonderful this place is, but I will try. At our arrival, we were greeted by the incomparable Maria Fernanda, our concierge for our stay. She gave us a quick tour, asked us what we needed, told us she was available for anything that might come up during our stay and left us to enjoy this paradise. She is so fantastic. She has been in communication with us for nearly a year because we booked it 9 months in advance. Any questions we had in advance of our stay, she answered in a timely manner. We arrived in San Jose one day early and she arranged private transportation to Quepos for the next day. Sergio met us in a lovely, air conditioned SUV and proceeded to drive us the scenic route by the coffee plantations. It was such a lovely drive. Sergio told us so much about his beautiful country on the drive. Maria also arranged for a rental car to be delivered to our villa the day we arrived. She's the greatest!During our 5 day stay, we had a mix of active and chill days. One day we did an ATV tour and another day we did a morning catamaran tour. Both were excellent experiences. In between those days we relaxed at the villa and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We saw beautiful Scarlet Macaws daily (their cry is loud and unmistakable, so when you hear it, get your cameras ready!) We also made friends with the iguanas, which we've named "Bruce" and "Tina." We didn't see any monkeys, but that just means we have to come bac

Pura Vida

Wonderful accommodations and concierge service! We were mesmerized sitting by the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Maria, our concierge, was very helpful, kind and responsive. She was always ready to support us and guide us in choosing activities or catching a cab. If you get a car, it has to be 4x4. The driveway from the main road is steep and has sharp corners. This was the second time we have stayed here and want to come back. We highly recommend staying here!

A Slice of Paradise in Quepos, Costa Rica

Our stay in Kepple, Costa Rica, was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking beauty of this place. Nestled in the mountains, the views were majestic, offering a front-row seat to nature’s wonders. Waking up to the sounds of monkeys in the trees and spotting colorful birds, including a stunning pair of parrots, made each morning an adventure in itself. The sunsets were truly unforgettable—every evening felt like a private showing of nature’s masterpiece, painting the sky with hues of gold, pink, and purple. Watching the sunset became our favorite daily ritual. The property itself was perfectly designed for relaxation and romance. The pool was spotless and well-maintained, offering a serene spot to cool off while surrounded by lush greenery. The kitchen and grill were incredibly convenient, allowing us to cook fresh, local ingredients and enjoy meals on the patio while soaking in the view. Maria, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. She was incredibly helpful in planning excursions, from atvs, fine dining, to exploring hidden beaches. Her recommendations ensured we made the most of our trip. The location couldn’t have been better. It was close enough to access the area’s best.
