This place exceeded every expectation. The private pool alone made it feel like a true escape, but what really set it apart was the setting—wildlife everywhere. We saw iguanas, birds, and more just by being on the property. It felt immersive in the best way, not touristy.The property manager Maria was next-level. Anything we needed, they handled—private chef, tours, in-home massages, transportation into town—no stress, no guessing, just seamless coordination. That kind of support completely changes the experience.If you’re looking to actually unwind and not think about logistics, this is it. Honestly, it was even better than described, which rarely happens. Would go back without hesitation

This is a lovely place for two couples. The pool was an added bonus but the view was overall winner. A vehicle with high clearance and 4 wheel drive was a life saver on the ascent to the home. María was very attentive to our needs. She was instrumental to setting up our tour and our in-home chef. Our group did some in-shore fishing and our chefs were able to cook up our catch as part of a traditional Costa Rican meal. We only wish we had scheduled the chef earlier in the week so that we could have eaten the leftovers! Thank you for a lovely visit to Quepos/Manuel Antonio!!! Pura Vida!

Beautiful home in great location close to many great restaurants. Outdoor areas were fantastic with great views of the Marina, ocean and mountains. Easy short drive to beaches and Manuel Antonio Park.Comfortable and large bedroom and bathroom.I highly recommend for 1 or 2 couples.

We stayed in this beautiful home for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our vacation. Stunning views around the villa, lovely pool area, large balcony, and comfortable rooms. Just a 10 minute drive down to the town of Quepos, restaurants, beaches, and little shops to entertain. Overall, worth the steep, narrow drive up the mountain to the villa! Thanks to the owners for sharing their 'pura vida' home..Nothing negative to say..besides lots of barking dogs to be heard night and day. Hope they are okay?

The house was fantastic — everything we needed to make it a perfect stay. When they tell you to get a 4-wheel drive, they mean it! Be sure to put the house in low gear when driving up — it’s absolutely worth it for the incredible view.We spent Christmas Day in the pool and watching the macaws flying around all day — it was just spectacular. We also enjoyed the resident iguanas; we had up to four of them enjoying the sunshine in the driveway.Being a host ourselves, we are very choosy, and this home exceeded our expectations. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was a big plus. Maria was incredibly helpful with our planning as well.We highly recommend staying here!

Views from the pool and patio were amazing. So much wildlife in front of the patio. The villa was very comfortable and cozy. Maria, the concierge, could not have been more kind or helpful throughout our stay. Paige Merritt, our private chef, created the most memorable meal of the trip. What a trip.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. Thomas and Maria were very helpful with information and helping arrange tours for us. The tour services and guides were top notch. The home is exactly as advertised. The views are picturesque, the pool is a gem, and the entire home is very comfortable.

This is our third time staying here. That should be a start on how we feel about staying here. From the view to the hospitality of Fernanda. We have enjoyed the whole experience. This stay has been the best of the three. We had more time to just relax and enjoy Costa Rica. From the food, beaches and traveling around. The fishing was a little slower after being spoiled the last two years. But we still enjoyed the day. Having a monkey at the house for the first time. To having a yellow throated Toucan land next to the patio and talk to us. It was a very enjoyable vacation. And the house and view was always amazing

This is our 4 time to stay at Casa Lucerne. Each time is magical. The moment you walk up to the front veranda and eternity is staring back at you! Looking over all of the harbor and Quepos you feel as king or queen ascending their throne! Then the wonderful sea breeze blows beneath you and up the mountain and greet you, know you’re somewhere special! Entering the house, you see the beautiful decor, the tropical plants outside and the sounds of the jungle. It feels like a home away from home. The bedrooms, give you plenty of solitude and comfort but of course you don’t wanna spend your time in there with a gorgeous pool and swim a bar. The check-in process is the easiest I’ve ever been through. Maria makes it effortless. I cannot recommend Casa Lucerne high enough! It is what makes the trip so special And if you were lucky enough to stay there, it will be a memory of a lifetime!

Heavenly views

Fantastic views from everywhere on the deck and pool. Best pool of anyplace we have stayed. Maria is wonderful to work with and the chef, Jeinor, is fantastic. Close to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway when it is raining.

Wonderful house! Relaxing Trip!

This house is perfect! Clean, well-equipped, awesome view! My husband and another couple stayed here for about a week. We walked up to the most magnificent sunset and the rest of the trip did not disappoint either. Maria Fernanda is the best concierge! She set us up with excursions, taxis, shuttles to and from the airport. She answered all of our questions too! The pool was so refreshing and the porch was relaxing. We would go back to this house next week if we didn’t have to return to work. Love Casa Lucerno! Pura Vida!

Summer vacation

We had a great time at the house. This is our second stay in the home. Look no further. This is the best place to stay. Great view and awesome pool. Fernanda was great with all the support and helpful suggestions. She was great helping us with a few excursions. The house has the best view with privacy. The sunsets on deck eating dinner at night was better than the restaurants views. We will definitely come back.

The perfect house with amazing views!

Everything about this house was perfect for myself and my 2 adult kids and 17 year old. The views were amazing and worth the steep drive up. The drive up is paved with tight curves and very steep but once I drove up once and got over the nerves I handled just fine the 20 other times I did it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the memories!

We really loved this place. Fantastic view, wonderful pool, comfortable beds and close to town. We saw lots of wildlife from the deck. Only drawback is the steep drive to the place.

Wonderful Stay in the Perfect Rental

This rental was perfect for two couples, each couple had a beautiful clean master suite. The property was beautiful with the most amazing views! We enjoyed the pool and patio after our adventures every night! It is so helpful to have your own Concierge to plan everything you need, Maria was amazing and so helpful! We had a personal chef Daniel that cooked us a yummy dinner, and also booked couples massages. Maria also booked us a guide for Manuel Antonio park, Josue an was amazing guide and pointed out several things that we would have never seen ourselves. The rental is very close to all the cool places you will want to visit on the pacific coast, and to many delicious restaurants. Don't hesitate to book this amazing rental! We hope to be back soon!
