The host was welcoming! What stood out to me was that he sent us directions accompagnied by a video of the actual drive to the house. He replied to everything we asked, and was always kind and helpful. I left something there, and he tried to help me get it back, even though we had already left and there really wasn't anything in it for him.

The home was not furnished as pictured in the living room, which adjusted our sleeping arrangements quite a bit. A full sectional would have been preferable over the the small "sofas", and the recliner in the living room was filthy. That said, we avoided the recliner and the rest of the home was nice, especially the view. The service provided by the concierge was AMAZING! I highly recommend you let the host handle everything, from dinner service to taxis, to events. We had dinner with a chef one evening and even the pickiest of our group LOVED the food. If this is the only place you’ll be staying while in Costa Rica, don't even bother renting a car. Have the host schedule a pickup to and from the airport and let them handle all the details. Would definitely stay again!

Great property and management!

We had an amazing time staying at this property. It was very comfortable and clean. With everything we needed. Mefi was wonderful from beginning to end helping coordinate excursions and the rental car, and information on the area, down to helping us with where to get groceries and where to eat. The maid service was wonderful and completely unexpected. There are amazing views and great out door spaces. You don’t just get a place to stay but a whole experience when you rented this house. If we go back to this area in the future we would try to stay here again.

Family Trip to M.A.

Spent three nights in Manuel Antonio with our three boys (all under 9). Spacious home with amazing views of both mountains and the Pacific. Neighboring Macaws were fun to watch over morning coffee. Close to everything you need. Host was great with communication and with recommending and organizing excursions, as well!

Perfect vacation house

The house was wonderful, very clean and very comfortable. The view of the mountains and all the birds was beautiful. Mefi was very helpful and when we had an issue with the water it was fixed within the hour. The cleaning staff was also great !

Spacious place with amazing view of Quepos!

7 of us stayed at Casa Moreno and had plenty of room both upstairs and down. The view of the ENTIRE town of Quepos was a sight to see everyday! The best part was the private pool and the grill. Definitely recommended.

Fishing Quepos

A wonderful place to stay in the area. We fished 5 of the seven days we were here and it was wonderful having Mefi to arrange anything we needed whenever we asked. This is a very beautiful property with a wonderful support staff. I don't see how you can go wrong with this property. If we are ever back in the area I would check to see if this place is available first.

Panoramic Heaven

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It wasn’t a place for monkey visits, but a bird lovers Paradise. The accommodations were great. The kitchen was well appointed. Although there were only the two of us, there would have been plenty of room for friends and family. There is an amazing view of the mountains all the way over to the ocean. There is a macaw community in the trees close by and they flew over to see us several times. They mate for life so they always visited in pairs. ♥️ You’ll get some fantastic pictures. The location is close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The patio is covered so you can still enjoy your coffee in the rain. Looking forward to coming back!

Marvelous (Casa) Moreno

A Quepos gem! Mefi is the heart and soul of Casa Moreno. For months prior to our stay, he helped us plan our itinerary and answer any questions we had promptly. When we arrived, he greeted us in person, and continued to assist in last minute changes, and add-ons to tours. He arranged a lovely dinner at the house through Chef Jeinor and his staff and arranged a taxi whenever needed. Truly memorable stay. In addition to the attentive service, the rooms were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed, from toiletries to a fully stocked kitchen. We woke up to beautiful views of the ocean and sights/sounds of wildlife around us. Macaws greeted us every morning from their nest. Highly recommend Casa Moreno.

Would stay again in a heartbeat

The drive in to this house is rather steep but once you get there, the view is great, the house is clean and comfortable, and it is close to everything you need and want, from the Park and beaches to markets and restaurants. Our family of 9 was very comfortable with the layout and the amenities. The pool was wonderfully refreshing and we appreciated the convenient laundry facilities and housekeeping. Enjoyed the birds, flowers, butterflies all around the outdoor areas. We wished we could have stayed longer, and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Exceeded Expectations!

Our stay was amazing from start to finish (8 day stay). We had a group of 7: 2 couples, 1 single adult, and 2 teenagers. Contactless check-in and check-out without any problems. The house, neighborhood, private pool, and view are beyond beautiful and spectacular. Each bedroom had their own well-performing ductless unit as well as one in the living room and kitchen. The only constructive criticism I have is that the pans for cooking could use replacing as the non-stick/Teflon is fairly worse for wear. We did a lot of our own cooking, and we used A LOT of oil/butter attempting to combat the sticky pans situation. All beds were very comfortable and I believe all had foam mattress toppers as well. The bed linens were exceptional. The house is well kept up on the inside and out. The bathrooms were all tile, very nice with good water pressure. Nobody ever ran out of hot water. The washer and dryer both worked very well as we all did laundry during our stay. The concierge set up a birthday dinner for one of our guests with Chef Caesar that did not disappoint. All guests were extremely pleased with their experience! I cannot recommend enough! We would all return to Casa Moreno without a doubt!

Great property with a great view!

This house was perfect for exploring Quepos and MA National Park. The drive was "adventurous" getting up the hill, but we were rewarded with a great view. The kids loved the warm pool and it was wonderful having a great view each morning out of the living room and kitchen. We also loved using the laundry facilities and the cleaners did a great job keeping the home tidy during our visit. The communication was first class and we'd happily stay here again. Hopefully next time for a month!!

This place has ruined VRBO for me

View was breathtaking. Concierge brought new meaning to the words “ going above and beyond.” He made sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We admittedly were last minute with our planning due to personal lives going haywire….but he made sure we didn’t miss out on a thing. He seems very well connected in Manuel Antonio. They were well stocked. Didn’t have to worry about basic things like coffee, salt, and laundry detergent. It was the most high maintenance we’ve ever been on a trip and they didn’t blink an eye. Very grateful for the grace. Owner very responsive as well. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
