Great property, lovely view and lots of great add-on options (i.e., private chef, massage in house, etc). Great base to explore Manuel Antonio during the days and relax by the pool in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic stay

We stayed at Casa Fantastica for a week and it was fabulous! Valerie and Ricky were very attentive, the housekeepers were wonderful, and I cannot say enough about Chef Junior! The food was incredible! All of our tours were extremely easy to book and everyone had a great time. 10 out of 10!

Fantastica stay!

The house is even more spectacular than the pictures shown on this site. There a a lot of animals, we had daily visit of monkeys, aras. There was also a sloth in the tree next to the house. No need to book a tour in Manuel Antonio Park when you stay in this house as you see more animals, Michael Closer.

Fantastic location with amazing views!

We really enjoyed our stay! The views of the Pacific Ocean were breathtaking and better than the pictures. The villa is conveniently situated less than a 10 min drive from Manuel Antonio park but you’ll be able to see ample wildlife from the property. We saw a sloth up close and in detail from the windows of one of the rooms facing the jungle and saw monkeys, toucans and parrots. Ricky, Valerie and the Chef and his staff were all very welcoming and hospitable!

Even better than it looks

We had such a fantastic stay with everything exceeding our expectations. The place is huge so definitely bring a large group but the accommodations, attention to detail and staff were epic. Valerie was great in helping us navigate through the strike/road blockages and Rickie was just a prince with his local knowledge and suggested activities. The food was also dynamite from chef Marcos and we will certainly be back. -John and the gang

Jungle Paradise

This was a spectacular house! We were so excited to see sloths and monkeys daily! Also saw Macaws and Toucans! Our chef Choko was a delight. He made us awesome meals and was so friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We can’t wait to be back in July and have already requested our chef!! We would highly recommend this house!!

Wonderful stay!

We had an incredible stay at the villa. All of our questions were answered ahead of time by Valerie, who was great at quick and helpful communication. The manager Ricky was super friendly and helped us with booking tours and beach days. The chef Jorge was AMAZING!! Fresh local food, incredible menus, and even had his aunt make us a special tres leches cake! Kim took such good care of us throughout our visit (and made a mean margarita!). Marjorie and her group kept the villa sparkling. We had daily visits from monkeys, lizards, macaws, and even a sloth! The pool was fantastic, the view as good as it gets, and the villa had everything we could want. It was a dream vacation and I wish I could go back right now!!

Beautiful Home

The home is very well designed to take advantage of a spectacular view of the Manuel Antonio Park and ocean. It is nestled in the rain forest so we enjoyed a lot of wild life right there at the home. It is a beautiful place.

BLISS 2019

Initial setup with Valerie and Fernando was effortless. We set up Room designations, Chef Services, 2 meals a day, Snacks, Beverages, Excursions, Transportation and all went off as planned. Valerie went the extra step and made room masterpieces with local goodies for each of the rooms. A basket of local oils, spices, hot sauces, and snacks. We were met by Ricky (house manager) as we arrived late night and then revisited the net day after we were settled. It was nice to know that my guests had a go to guy for anything. Ricky answered and resolved all of our phone calls. Having a Ricky in a foreign environment taking care of you was a sense of security. Marjorie, our house Lady, was suite and ran a tight ship with all the house helpers. house was in tip top shape each morning. She was so willing to take time and address anything we needed. Chef Junior and his kitchen accomplice David were fantastic. Food flavors, portions, variety was spot on. Great Steaks, unbelievable fish, the extra mile on our Surf and turf Lobster night was awesome. The daily fresh fruit was great to eat fresh or fused into Janet's top notch Pina Colada's. Yes, unexpected was the introduction of our Cocktail extraordinaire Janet. An unexpected surprise to our arrangements. Let's take to the next level and we had a request book that we could order anything for the group ( ordered special beverages, ordered bandages, ordered lip medicine, ordered popcorn) it was delivered to us within hours. The air conditioned rooms were awesome to take a siesta and sleep at night. The house and its views are spectacular. A comfortable setting for cocktails, lounging, dining, playing cards, watching a movie or tanning in the pool. We had 3 types of monkeys visit us every day. Woke up 4 out of 7 morning by monkeys playing on the roof. Our friends were woken up all 7 days by a pair of Toucans. Your spending a week living at the zoo. Team Casa Fantastica, thank you for a 2019 vacation to be remembered. Ricky, we closed all the doors and turned the pool light off. Till next time!

Fantastic!!

Breath taking and magical from the moment our van backed down a steep narrow road towards the entry gate, till we had to depart 7 days later. The jungle critters visit the Villa daily on their journey through the jungle. You will see more wild life daily at the villa than in the park. The awed look on every ones faces as they stood a few steps away from a hanging sloth was priceless. The experiences the Casa Fantastica crew created for our wedding party made the Villa our treasured home. Chef Jr. and David's breakfast and dinners rivaled meals many of us have experienced at fine restaurants. Janet our bartender accommodated the various thirst needs at our daily cocktail hour. Marjorie and her cleaning crew became our friends and left the villa immaculate each day. Rickey, the Villa host and manager was a incredible resource for our diverse party of eighteen plus. He also proved invaluable, continued support for a guest of ours that needed medical treatment in San Jose. Finally, our party came to experience a fabulous destination wedding. Our wedding planner, Marianne and her team exceeded our expectations and created what numerous guests described as the best wedding and reception they have ever experienced. So, honestly, from the moment we arrived till the end of our stay, our experiences at Casa Fantastica simply took our breath away and often left us with tears of joy and laughter. Lost for words

I've started to write my review and haven't had enough time, because to describe this amazing house just takes to much time. We had 16 people our adult children and there friends. Everyday was an adventure. To start with every room & bathroom was so unique . Every morning we would be greeted by the monkeys which was its own entertainment. The chef was awesome . Anything you would need all you have to do is ask. We went on a few side trips but in the end everyone wanted their last day at the pool and being at the house. This is an incredible way to spend quality time with family....

Sick House!

We were a group of 10 persons and that is the name we put on this house "Sick House" being for us an incredible weekend. The house have all it takes to have a great vacation. A lot of entertainment. The host treat us great. The chef made us lots of great meals. I would recommend this house 1000%.

Amazing!!!

Pictures don’t do this place justice!! It is breathtaking! Everyone was amazing. Valerie and Fernando did an amazing job helping us get everything situated. Ricky was awesome!! He met us on the main road and lead us to the house. He showed us around and explained everything we needed to know, he was also available 24/7 for anything we needed! Our chefs Esteban and Carlos are just fantastic! Everything was so perfect and delicious! The housekeepers went above and beyond to make sure everything was so clean and well taken care of. They even went out of their way to help us blow up a float and clean some dirty laundry. There is not one bad room in this entire house everything was so clean and welcoming! The prosperity and upkeep is 5 star. We enjoyed the house so much we didnt even go out at night and hardly during the day. There are daily visits from all types of wildlife! The monkeys are hilarious and will come by everyday. The view is just breathtaking! Words really can’t describe how perfect this house is! We will definitely be back next year!! Can’t wait to stay at casa fanatastica again!!

Fantastica Costa Rica vacation!

This was one of my favorite vacations. The house was gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved the view from the pool ! We were close to restaurants, beaches , activities. There was plenty to do in the house from the game room to the gym, and the pool. Since it was our 50th bday celebration we even used the massage rooms and I had the best massage ever! We loved our chef! His meals were delicious and he was very accommodating ! They couldn’t do enough for us. I think our favorite part was the natural wild life. The howling monkeys were amazing. There were toucans and parrots knocking on the windows. We cannot wait to go back !

Emry Family Vacation

Stunned upon arrival! There was 21 of us and this house was a perfect fit. Everyone had space to themselves and common areas for gathering and fun! The BEST was our 5+ star dinner that was made for us every night by Choko and Francisco! They made our experience one to remember. The men in our family went deep sea fishing and brought back 150lbs of fish and Choko prepared a beautiful feast! He knows how to whip up ANYTHING! Valerie was phenomenal at booking our excursions. Throughout the process, she was very communicative and responded to every detail. The housekeeping were the sweetest people on earth and did everything the could to make us comfortable. Still on high from this trip. A BIG THANK YOU to Escape villas for making this family trip a success. Pura Vida!

CASA FANTASTICA ADVENTURE

Let's break down the best vacation I have ever been on... House: Let's just say I felt like Beyonce (or Pablo Escobar). Amazing rooms, breathtaking views, and an overall immersive nature experience. You open your curtains and...BAM...a toucan siting outside your window. You walk to the pool and...SURPRISE...Squirrel Monkeys playing by your lounge chair. Living in the jungle while still having a personal chef and gorgeous pool is the most glamorous yet adventurous experience. The house is perfect for large groups as the lounge areas seat everyone comfortably. No need to leave...like ever...the bar and the staff behind the bar does not compare to any bar or club you have ever been to. Location: Like the name of the house...it's fantastic! A walk or bus ride away from the beach, close to the Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, and just a stone throw away from amazing zip lining, white water rafting, and horse back riding. Don't forget to visit the restaurants, cafes, and gift shops scattered around the entire town. Staff: Chuko and Francisco are the definetiion of "pura vida." The most delicious food I have ever eaten with the best best service I have ever received. They are hilarious, charismatic, and very helpful. Please request these guys! I can not compliment their work , drinks, and food enough! As for the maid staff...simply wonderful! These ladies work so hard and brought our laundry folded perfectly. They keep the Villa looking beautiful and clean. Activities: So many! White water rafting and zip lining is a must! Easy to coordinate and get to and from with the help of our wonderful concierge.

Breath taking House with View of Ocean

The house is only comparable to what you see in the movies. The host Ricky was amazing. Such great architecture and detail went into the design of the house. The staff were friendly, very clean and enough activities to keep everyone busy. Lovely place. Will definitely stay here again and again....

Outstanding 40th Birthday Vacation!!

I planned this trip for myself and a few other women that are turning 40 this year. The entire team EXCEEDED my groups expectations! Even from the very beginning, Fernando was very helpful and gave me tips on things to do for our first night in San Jose. I felt confident that they would take good care of us and they did. Valerie is amazing and very patient! I asked a ton of questions and she was always quick to respond and even offered suggestions to help us enjoy our stay. Their trusted drivers were also amazing! I'm so glad that I trusted Escape Villas to handle everything. It made the transportation and excursion planning run smoothly with a group this large (12 women). Jose was the best driver, not one time did I fear for my life while riding with him. He was on -time, very safe and cautious with us and I was actually able to take a nap from SJO to Manuel Antonio..carefree. The bus was a newer model and very clean which also made for a good ride. Ricky was a wealth of information and also fun to chat with. He checked on us daily and made sure that we were ok and he was always at our disposal if we needed him. Just being able to hear about the Costa Rican culture first hand was a great experience...Pura Vida! I love that Escape Villa's provided a house cell phone so if we needed to get in touch with Ricky or a taxi we could use it for local calls. It came in handy when calling a taxi from the Manuel Antonio Park. Marcos (the chef) was AWESOME!! He was fun, friendly and cooked some awesome dishes. With 12 women, things can get really particular but everyone loved all of the dishes and the desserts! I entrusted him to just "make us something good to eat", and he surprised us each time. The chicken was so moist! He was always on time for our meals and even came really early to cook before our excursions. The housekeepers were very thorough in keeping the villa clean. Coming back to a clean place was refreshing! Lastly, the entire experience with Escape Villas, Casa Fantastica and Manuel Antonio was the best trip hands down for my friends and family. The monkeys came to visit daily as advertised and we were up at 4am every morning on the look out for them. We even got a chance to hear the howler monkeys! My group originally wanted to stay in an all-inclusive hotel but they are very grateful that I chose this place which was like our own private all-inclusive resort, a private villa, concierge, private chef, private transportation...An amazing trip!

Absolutely amazing!

This place was absolutely gorgeous, words can’t even explain how perfect this place was. From the perfect view to the stunning rooms. This place is definitely one to remember! If you’re thinking of staying here, DO IT! The pictures do absolutely no justice. It is stunning.

Excellent Villa, outstanding venue in every way!

We were there for a wedding and this turned out to be the perfect venue for that. Every aspect of the villa was as described or pictured or better. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the villa upon arrival and through out our stay were fantastic. All the staff from our great host Ricky who set us up with the best excursions, to the incredible chefs and our cleaning staff who went beyond expectations to ensure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. I would recommend this venue to anyone wishing to celebrate any occasion or to just relax and enjoy the company of friends or family in an atmosphere that is very special and memorable.

FANTASTIC !!!

We had our wedding in Costa Rica and invited our close family and friends to come stay with us in these 2 Villa's Fantastic & Azul both were just out standing, the service from the Host(answering all hours of the night and day) maids and Chefs we just awesome! Anything you wanted or needed they arranged for you with out a hitch! They made out family's and friends so comfortable it was amazing!

Villa was beautiful, staff was exceptional from maids to chefs. Hot water in showers was an issue more than once. We were there from Saturday to Saturday & the wedding was on Wednesday but there was no hot water for showers. There also was no hot water on the arrival date.
