Great quiet location with very close proximity to the trail run race we were doing. Loved the beach access and this was a great place to stay with two families with small children because of the upstairs and downstairs bedroom locations and the full kitchen and laundry.

I will first preface this review by saying I booked a premium property at a premium cost. We found the premise didn't meet expectations. Beyond being unkept and outright dirty the following deficiencies need to be taken care of. Downstairs toilet seat, loose and requires repair, Dishwasher leaking and couldn't be used, linens advertised as premium are worn out, towels were stained, door lock on patio door falls off, in-cupboard trash bin is beyond dirt with old garbage left under the bag, clothes drier drum is actually broken, old food left behind from guests dated from 2 years ago, the eating and meal prep utensils is rather comical, not enough forks for 6 people to eat at once yet there is a few dozen knives, key fob for main-gate battery dead, closet in lower bedroom water damaged and smell of must/mold. Hopefully the owner takes action for future guests. After scrolling through the reviews I see many of these have been mention in the past, so renter be aware. My concern that the housekeeper didn't have the same standards went un answered.

Nice house but not very clean. Check in process was poor with no advanced notice of gate or house codes. Upstairs toilet required opening tank to stop it running regardless of the sign to “shake the handle”

Place was nice and central to downtown walking and bike trail. Had everything we needed. Hood kitchen for cooking. Only negative would be the deck hadn’t been cleaned off in a long time and it’s the warm season for sitting out.

I paid luxury price but I was not impressed with the overall quality of the accommodations. They had a major water issue in the upstairs bathroom so the drywall in the main floor closet was in terrible shape and it smelled musty in the house. The baseboards in the upstairs bathroom were all ruined, the trim around the window in the kitchen was in terrible condition, the floors weren’t very clean when we arrived, the bedding in one room needed rewashing, the upstairs toilet didn’t flush well, the downstairs shower seal on the door leaks and needs replacing so the floor would get wet when you showered, the cold air return vent by the dining room table is caked with dust and dirt, the downstairs bathroom fan was also caked with dust and dirt, the dryer has a cracked drum and makes a loud thunking noise when you use it and I question if it is isn’t a fire hazard, various dishes in the kitchen were put away dirty, there was a cracked Corning ware dish in the cupboard, alarm clock upstairs was broken, lights were dusty, toilet seat downstairs was loose. If I was staying somewhere for a 100 a night I would have been more accepting of these flaws but at 600 a night I expect that any defects or broken items would be fixed before my stay.

House was very clean and well equipped. Quiet gated community in lovely setting. Well situated for visiting various areas of interests. Only thing that would add to the home would be somewhere to store non-perishables. Patio needed sweeping and weeding. I swept carpet and outdoor carpet to feel comfortable relaxing outside…didn’t tackle the weeding of course. When communicating with the host, the response was not timely.

Lovely gated community. Fully equipment kitchen and pretty cottage. . Would probably stay again. Nicely decorated and roomy. Downside was it really needed a good dusting and some of the towels were stained with what looked like makeup. A little extra TLC would have made it perfect.

Nice place and great location

We stayed here for two nights while we explored the area. The complex is very quiet. The house is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the space and the kitchen. We had some issues with exiting the complex after we had left and dropped off the fob. Please note that you have to enter the code to get the gate to open when exiting the complex. Only complaint is that the guests before us had left some of their garbage in the bathroom. Since it was March the pool was not yet open which disappointed the younger members of our family.

An Excellent Cottage

This is a really nice Cottage one of the nicest in the complex. We really enjoyed staying at this property, it’s quiet, really well kept, and the grounds are pristine. It’s a family style vacation spot, there’s no partying. The pool was great, we played pool, tennis and pickleball all day. The air conditioning was a bonus. You can’t go wrong staying here. The property is well managed.

The house was everything and more! Every amenity we could ask for…will be staying here again! However I seemed to have lost a small pink wallet that holds credit cards etc Is there a way to reach out to the owner to see if any have been turned in?

Great Girls Weekend

This is going to be our new home away from home!!! This cute cottage has everything you need!!! The kitchen has all you need including spices, espresso maker, loads of dishes and glassware. The surrounding area is clean, well taken care of and we will be back for sure!!!

Quality in Qualicum

First time visiting Qualicum and we enjoyed ourselves very much!! We had some great meals at Qualicum Beach Inn Restaurant , Blackbird Schnitzel Haus, Shady Rest, Searching for Fanny Bay smoked Oysters in Fanny Bay and none to be found 😢 we stopped at FBI pub and had a sweet waitress with hair almost to her knees didn’t get her name but she was awesome ❤️ Great wings at Deez pub as well. Beautiful scenery and the beach by Marks was so nice❤️ Thank you

Great home for families

The house was great and you could tell it’s owner used by the quality of finishings and art. The downstairs had two bedrooms and the upstairs had 3rd bedroom with bathroom. Nice outdoor seating. The pool was a short walk and the beach is a bit further. The beach is rocky, but can spot wildlife and there was a large grassy common area with a nice fire pit (not used due to fire ban). Tons of ripe blackberries (mid-August). A bit of a drive into Parksville and Qualicum to visit some attractions but not too far. Overall nice stay! If you have kids check out the Deep Bay Marine field station

-pool was good -cottages fairly new -maybe not enough clean time between guests, surfaces were sticky, floor dirty if wiped. Patio and house in need of power washing. -needed more kitchen storage, only place for non perishable groceries was kitchen island or floor -beach was rocky and more just water view with grassy area above

We call the resort Plesant-ville. Unit had everything we needed. Pool area great for kids and adults. Quiet and no issues with neighbours.

Fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay! House was just a moments walk to the pool and a couple minutes walk to the beach. House was very well equipped with everything you could need. Bed was comfortable with nice linens, very nice towels for use and we loved the back patio. Would definitely recommend :)
