"We had a marvellous time in this cute little cabin by the ocean. A daily swim, coffee on the beach and walks down by the shore became an easy routine. This place was a perfect get away for my family who loved spending time together either inside the cabin, or outside on the larger deck. Will be rebooking this place again sometime in the near future."

"Spotlessly clean and well decorated home in Parksville. Would be great in the summer as it’s within walking to the city beach but on a side street, away from the summer traffic. Good local restaurants are nearby along with three grocery stores in case you want to take advantage of the full kitchen in the unit. Doris and Rick were welcoming hosts and I had zero issues during my stay. The pictures are exactly what you get. I’ll definitely be booking again when I need a place to stay in Parksville."

"Beachfront walk-out was a wonderful place to stay for our Easter weekend. Everything that we needed was provided and it was great to wake up to the beautiful colours of the sunrises! Quiet, clean, comfortable - and awesome views! Our hosts were very responsive (check-in process, adding an extra night, etc.) Thanks for the opportunity to stay at Beachfront Walk-out and the chocolate treat! :-)"

"The apartment was very comfortable to stay in. Communication and check in was very easy and Al was very flexible. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and supplied. The lounge room was very cozy with the fire particularly as we had cold and rainy weather. Highly recommend to stay here."

"This property was lovely. It faces the water, it’s completely private, and access to all that Nanaimo has to offer is convenient. Our hosts were friendly and unobtrusive, and we all enjoyed our stay. Our boys loved the fireplace and the opportunity to watch the sunrise from the deck."

"Very happy with our stay here. The owner communication was great. The master bedroom is a nice size with a king size bed I believe. The two single beds upstairs are more suitable for children as they are shorter. Upstairs is a very nice area as there is another tv and another bathroom. Plus we used the fold down couch in the living room as my husband seems sto snore on vacation.lol. We had great weather for our 4 nights. We enjoyed walking to mini golf and having an ice cream. Only 5 min or less...

"This historic cottage is charming, spacious and functional. The Cable Bay Trail out to Joan Park along the coast is an absolute must walk. We had four days of rain and still enjoyed ourselves greatly, thanks to the games room."
