Top tier stay. Worth it.

This house was a dream. We always travel with a bag of supplies because we cook every meal. This is the first house we've stayed in that we didn't need those supplies (scissors, dish rags, tongs, stain remover spray, air fryer, etc). Plenty of space in the house lead to fun times for my granddaughter (there's a small tote of kid things & we found some books as well). The backyard is beautiful with bunnies and hummingbirds daily. Doreen & Nick are the most welcoming hosts we've come across. They had great recommendations for us when we asked. No hoarding of towels from them either. We had an abundance to use at our lesiure. Garage parking included. Quiet area. No issues what so ever. We definitely recommend staying with Doreen & Nick!

We absolutely loved this home. So comfortable and every attention given to detail. The hosts were really great, friendly and warm people. The home is situated on a beautiful piece of property with so much room to roam and play. It slept seven of us, including 3 young children most comfortably. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything to put together a lovely family meal. The rooms were beautiful and most comfortable. A very peaceful place. Everything about this property is top notch. I give the hosts and their property the highest recommendation. The picture I’ve included is the backyard in the early morning. Beautiful!

This place was perfect for our family! Doreen & Nick were very friendly and accommodating. They had plenty of coffee, tea, kleenex, fans for every room, endless towels & pillows and lots of misc. items I needed like a baking sheet to bake our cookies and ziploc bags for snacks to take on our daily travels. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood felt very safe. The house was well lit at night and lots of landscaped property for us to explore during our 6 day trip. The location was perfect. We traveled to Tacoma, Graham, Eatonville, & surrounding local small towns. Both Doreen & Nick provided lots of recommendations to restaurants and places to take our 3 yr old twins when asked. They even provided a bag of duck food to feed the local ducks that visit the 2 ponds they have on their property. Unfortunately we didn't see any ducks but the kids still enjoyed throwing food into the pond to feed them! We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the house had plenty of space for everyone. Nick even brought over a space heater at 9pm after I texted them so late asking if the house had one as I felt chilly in the master bathroom/shower. They were wonderful and the stay was flawless. I would highly recommended this property to anyone coming to visit this area. I enjoyed my morning cups of coffee sitting outside and my evening cups of tea winding down my days listening to the birds singing and my kids laughing and playing & making memories with the "magic door" in the backyard. Thank you!

Nick and Doreen work tirelessly to make the stay amazing! We were in Edgewood for my daughter's wedding, and having an incredible home to stay in enhanced an already great trip. The house was beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet. It was cozy and impeccably clean! We knew a little about Washington, but Nick and Doreen offered us some advice to improve our visit. I would definitely recommend staying in this house!

Super home, Location, and Hosts

The property was just as described and fully fit our needs. The few steps made it accommodating for the grandparents who stayed as well. The beds were comfortable, the linens wer amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved the outdoor space! We were there for my daughter's wedding and there was space in the garage for storing ALL of the flowers! Doreen and Nick were very helpful and accommodating with our questions and anything we needed! Highly recommend!

Top Notch Service

This property was as advertised. Clean, quiet, comfortable. There was nothing lacking and if there was, the owner would have been sure to take care of it. Owners were very friendly and thorough through the check-in process and genuinely wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay.

Perfect property for family weekend!

Really lovely property just outside of Seattle/Tacoma area. We were in town for a nearby wedding and this was a great place to prepare and relax around the festivities. Property is just like the pictures - clean, upscale, no hidden surprises. Its in a quiet, rural neighborhood with lots of space, but multiple food and coffee options within a 5-minute drive in a couple different directions, and large kitchen for family meals. Would definitely recommend for these type of visits (if you are looking to be right near Seattle proper, probably not your best bet due to location, but with a car its 25 mins. from SeaTac and a few minutes more to downtown Seattle.)

Beautiful Country Retreat!

The property was perfect for our family. We came from multiple states just for the weekend for a wedding. The property was clean & spacious. The host were amazing! We only wished we could of spent more time at the property.

Forest Grove

This is an outstanding home and property! Immaculate and top of the line linens and the kitchen had everything you ever would need for entertaining your family. The hosts Doreen and Nick met us at the home and went through everything with us, and was even so kind to have a basket of apples, oranges and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. This is definitely the place to stay if you’re looking for a warm cozy home on acreage. I would definitely book Forest Grove again and refer anyone I know traveling to WA, to stay there. This is a beautiful home that met all of our needs, the yard, landscape and flowers are a work of art! Quiet neighborhood but very accessible. We used this as a home base for day trips but could have just stayed and enjoyed the quiet and beautiful yard and hummingbirds. We would stay here again!

Wonderful 9 days!

This property is absolutely amazing! Our family of 7 enjoyed the relaxing patio, the chef’s kitchen, the beautifully landscaped grounds and the comfortable living room. The beds were like heaven! We loved the fact the Edgewood was close to so many attractions. We visited Mt. Rainier, Mt. Saint Helens, Seattle, The Olympic Peninsula, and Vachon Island. Forest Grove was the perfect home base for our Pacific Northwest vacation. Doreen and Nick were very accommodating- wonderful hosts! We hope to be back.

The best VRBO we've ever stayed at!

From start to finish, everything was fantastic about this stay. Doreen and Nick were incredibly hospitable, meeting us at the home, and showing us all the necessary items. They had a lovely welcome basket for us, and made us feel immediately at home. The home itself is immaculate, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was fully stocked with any and every appliance you can think of, and coffee! The outdoor space was the best part of the whole space - beautifully landscaped yard, plenty of outdoor seating and even games for the kiddos. We have stayed in many VRBO over the years but none that was so intentional as this space, with regards to cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. We didn't want to leave! Thanks Doreen and Nick!

A Refreshing Oasis

We came here as a family to attend a local Bible convention in Puyallup highlighting patience in a world of chaos. After each day it was the perfect house and property to unwind and reflect from a full day of education. The hosts were so completely kind and thorough. Nothing was lacking from this space. The beds were very comfortable and the house was calm and quiet. Our only regret is that we didn’t schedule one more night! Should circumstances line up for us again, we will not hesitate to rent this house again! Thank you, Riggan and Fritzer families

Quiet country retreat

We loved this house and would happily stay here again. It’s a comfortable, well-furnished house on a beautiful property. I loved seeing the green lawn and the red barn out the windows. The living room was cozy in the best way possible—meaning welcoming and comfortable, not small. There was plenty of comfy seating for the whole family to watch TV together, and we loved the gas fireplace. We enjoyed being out in the country. So quiet and peaceful! We took day trips to Seattle, Tacoma, and the Olympic Peninsula. And enjoyed hunting for treasures in many antique/vintage shops in the area. I HIGHLY recommend this rental, but here are a few things to consider just in case they might be a problem for your particular group: - The 4th bedroom is part of the master suite (no access to the hallway or the bathroom without going through the master bedroom). - The half bath is in the garage. It’s chilly out there, but it was nice to have that extra bathroom. The laundry room is out there too. - We had just enough cell signal in the house to text, but not enough signal to make calls. (Might be a concern for anyone staying “home” while others go out.) But note that the WiFi/internet service was excellent. - This house is in a rural area. So no walking just down the block to a cafe or restaurant. We are used to this, so it didn’t bother us to drive 15-20 minutes to “local” restaurants, but it might seem far to others. This house was EXCEPTIONAL in many ways: - Parking is available IN the attached garage, with use of the garage door remote during your stay. So nice during the rainy season. - The beds are incredibly comfortable. - There was real cable TV with all our favorite channels, including sports channels to watch live sports. - There is a separate room with the second TV that we used as a remote-work office. It could also be used as an additional bedroom. Doreen and Nick, thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I hope we can rent from you again.

Nick and Doreen were the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of communicating with during our stay. The home was beautiful and was well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen supplies! I recommend this home to all groups, small or large, young and old!
