"熊の湯ホテルは3回目の宿泊です 建物は古いですが館内はとても清潔で綺麗です。 温泉源泉掛け流し　総檜造りのお風呂は天井が高く、檜のよい香りがしました。 露天風呂は透明な緑で内風呂は乳緑色でとても気持ちの良い温泉です。 そして夕食はもどれもとても美味しくて感激しました　とてもお勧めしたい宿です。"

"Great location, just couple steps from Yubatake hot springs, you can tell facilities are a bit old but well kept, big room, great staff, big buffete dinner, breakfast a bit short in options but good, safe area. It is a natural onsen town so expect its particular smell at all time, inside hotel they do a good job isolating it but still keep that in mind. Onsen is awesome, by gender, traditional dress code (no clothes), 3 hot tubs at different temps and outdoor pool."

"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! And the food was amazing and a wonderful experience. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners and they were all...

"This was by far my greatest stay so far in japan. Amazing food, amazing building, amazing onsen! But westerners be wary, you will need to sacrifice some of your typical understanding of amenitys, theres no showers in the rooms, and very little english is spoken in this whole town. That being said i cant rate it less than 5 stars! If you come to this hotel, be prepared to eat (amazing) foods you never thought youd try, and immerse youself in the japanese culture.
