"We were here for a couple of days and had a wonderful stay! The place is kept clean, and it sits right by the ski hill. Nothing beats a soak in the hot public bath after a day of skiing. Also loved the breakfast and dinner! The gem though was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and went out of the way to help us. "

"Very clean and great service! The whole place is bean-themed which is very cute. Every part of the welcome snack and breakfasts had some kind of bean. They also have very nice free homemade drinks. Your room also has a chocolate bean snack which is really yummy! There’s a private toilet (no bath) and sink in your room, with plenty of private baths available on the first floor. Love that the bath water is sourced from Yubatake - very silky. Bath amenities and toiletries were also amazing, and you...

"The staff were very accommodating and kind. Our experience here has become a highlight in our Japan trip! Especially the half board menu where we experienced a hearty, well-balanced dining experience specializing in traditional Japanese food using local, fresh ingredients. The onsets were big and very well kept. We enjoyed our stay here!"

"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! And the food was amazing and a wonderful experience. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners and they were all...

"Great location, just couple steps from Yubatake hot springs, you can tell facilities are a bit old but well kept, big room, great staff, big buffete dinner, breakfast a bit short in options but good, safe area. It is a natural onsen town so expect its particular smell at all time, inside hotel they do a good job isolating it but still keep that in mind. Onsen is awesome, by gender, traditional dress code (no clothes), 3 hot tubs at different temps and outdoor pool."

"Todas las múltiples actividades que tiene, el baño compartido es súper sabroso pero la “therma therma” si deja un poquito que desear, fui en mi cumpleaños y todo sabroso "
