"This place is impossible to explain. You have to be there to know how magical it is. The wildlife is so dense it could be scary for some people. The big tree has about a hundred Oropendola nests in it, and a Green Macaw nest. The tree next to it has a pair of Bat Falcons nesting in it. The first night we were there we heard big cats in the woods real close to the house. We also saw a couple of snake species, and more beautiful poison dart frogs than we could count. "Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!"

"The host was friendly and gracious. The house is a bit better than the photos. If you have problems climbing stairs though, that will be an issue because they're a bit steep, but for location you can't beat this place! It's literally 100 feet from the beach, and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. There's no better location anywhere."

"This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to explore the Puerto Viejo / Manzanillo area. The home had everything we needed - stocked kitchen, AC and fan, nice water pressure, comfortable bed and an patio. It is steps from the beach - can't beat the location. Property management accommodated a last minute date change due to my booking error. We loved meeting Senor Elivio (onsite caretaker). He helped us see a sloth on the property (we would never have seen ourselves) closer than you would see on...
