Nos hospedamos 5 personas (2 adultos mayores) en el bungalow River Dream House. Todo fue excelente. El personal muy amable. La experiencia de dormir enmedio de la jungla y de una forma muy segura fue sensacional. Los monos aulladores, en el momento, sí nos sobresaltaron. Sin embargo, ahora estamos recordando esa maravillosa experiencia, riéndonos. Las habitaciones muy limpias y amplias. Las camas muy cómodas. La cocina muy bien equipada. No olvides llevar todos tus alimentos, recuerda que estarás entre la jungla. La caminata de 10 minutos a la playa muy agradable. Si quieres vivir una experiencia en la jungla este es, sin duda, el lugar.

This was definitely an experience our family will not forget. Rustic and open jungle living and even had the property dog spend time with us which we enjoyed. Beautiful private beach which was a bit of a trek but also part of the experience.

We have had an amazing time at Congo Bongo. We loved everything… the accommodation, place, staff and the beach! I would rate this place 10 /10…will definitely go back someday in the future!

An unique place with local flavor on the coast of Carribean sea with a private beach. Animals, birds, beautiful nature Perfect for family and romantic vacation.

Loved the seclusion of this property. It was quiet and beautiful. The path to the beach was a fantastic walk. Almost like a private beach! So many monkeys and jungle sounds. We had some difficulty finding our villa upon arrival as it was past staff hours and the path was not marked. We did have a map but after being awake for 22 hours and traveling much of that my patience was low and I began to panic. The staff had a sign made the next day. Fresh organic eggs were amazing. Beds were comfortable and showers were hot. We could hear through bedroom walls which is fine if everyone goes to bed at the same time.

We stayed here with my family. It was incredibly nice and relaxing. Property had everything you'll need. Also, they have staff near you to assist you in everything. The please in its entirety is just magical.

This hotel is paradise! Surrounded by jungle and the perfect jungle house! House came with everything you need for a comfortable stay:) We loved sitting on the deck and looking for wildlife in the trees! They have also the most amazing decorative path to the beach that the kids loved! Can’t say enough about Congo Bongo!!

This was an Amazing combination of indoor and out door living! The sounds and the views of the jungle are captivating. The Beach is a 8 mins walk. I can’t wait to bring my children❤️The staff were helpful and welcoming!

This is a true eco lodge in the middle of the costa rican jungle. A lot of pride went into creating this space. Masai and Daan take excellent care of you and the facility and surroundings are spectacular. A very unique experience!

This property is a doorway to nature's paradise. Being set in jungle with an open living theme there is nothing to not love about Congo bongo. The cry of howler monkeys at 4am followed by the jungle waking up to the evening cry of the toucan nature is all around. The ambience is complimented by the warmth and friendliness of the people who call this place home.

Holy cow, this place was spectacular! A stunning combination of modern comfort (fully outfitted kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces with fans, grill, WiFi, filtered water) and true natural immersion, with the open-walled format and private location. The pathway to the private beach is beautiful and convenient, and the customer service was kind, quick, and helpful. We didn't have a car, which was totally fine - Manzanillo is an easy 15-minute walk (on the beach or by the road), and Uber helped out when it rained. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer - it was good for two nights, but I'd love to come back for a week, stock up at the grocery store, and truly relax and unwind.

Le concept art et nature est génial. Très belle propriété, bien entretenue. La villa était magnifique. Le personnel est attentionné et disponible pour la moindre demande. Petite barrière de langue mais nullement problématique. Belle plage super tranquille. Les enfants ont adoré l’expérience, tout comme les grands... Tout simplement parfait pour nous ressourcer et passer de super vacances. Je recommande vraiment.

It was an experience I will never forget! We had our own home in the jungle, amongst the jungle wild life, it was unbelievable! The decor was unique and the place was relaxing and beautiful. The sounds of the animals from the jungle were all over and loud, be prepared! The howler monkeys were loud but that is one thing which made the experience so awesome! The property was on the beach, we loved everything about it, I will go back and share this experience with more family members, I am so glad we stayed there 3 nights. It was such an adventure!

We loved Congo Bongo!

Great service, beautiful location, gorgeous property and houses. Free laundry service. Well appointed kitchen and setup for home cooking and grilling. Free beach gear like surfboards, toys, and more. Great onsite recycling and compost program. Excellent mosquito nets over each bed. So much wildlife to enjoy from bed, porch, or hammock. Easy walk to beach. Close to manzanillo town for food, hikes and snorkeling. Bikes available to rent from property for $10/day. Many bikeable locations for food, beaches, and more. Pricey for our budget but well worth it! Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights!

Magical rainforest cabin

The place is out of this world. Magical and Beautiful property in a private setting. A bottle of wine waiting for you monkeys and toucans everywhere all around you all day and beach access and location could not be better. Went with my children and am sure they will never forget and I can't wait to return. Had everything but Wish there was a toaster though. Kids wanted toast and I tried to make in a pan and got distracted by so many monkeys everywhere, burnt the toast and stunk up the place. Sorry Dann. By the way the owner Dann was wonderful and very helpful with everything. Can't wait to return.

A perfect 10!

I can't say enough good things about this accommodation. They lodges are absolutely stunning - located in the middle of a beautiful jungle. Falling asleep listening to the howler monkeys is unlike anything else we've ever experienced. Its a short 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach, that we usually had entirely to ourselves! The staff - everybody, including the owner and his wife, were so kind and made us feel really at home and supported for our entire stay. They even provide free daily laundry service. The kitchens were well stocked which made it easy to cook meals. They had beach toys and chairs, and also some nice bikes (even some kids bikes). We stayed in 4 different accommodations during out 2 weeks in Costa Rica, one of which was a 5 star resort, and this was hands down our favorite place!

A great jungle stay!

An amazing cabin in the middle of the jungle. All the jungle noises are amazing and you really feel like you’re sleeping amongst it. A lot of wild life around and we saw sloths on the property which was a bonus for us. Direct access to a lovely beach and sea. A perfect stay and would recommend to others.
