Perfection in Puerto Vallarta

Casa Yvonnekka was absolute paradise! Our sibling trip of 19 had the most amazing time! The staff was the most attentive we have ever had and did it with a smile. The concierge was so helpful we never had to wait for travel and every outing was booked with perfection. From days around the beautiful pool, reservations for dinner on the beach, day on a yacht, hiking Las Animas, massages at the house, topping it off with amazing food and a mariachi band. Couldn’t ask for anything better!!! Thank you for making this trip a dream come true and allowing us to stay at your beautiful property!!

Most memorable trip ever!!!!!

This place is the most special place I’ve ever had the opportunity to visit. The staff were like family and made our stay the most memorable one ever. The food was spectacular, the drinks poolside were phenomenal and the facilities were beyond spectacular. Malena even made me her famous chili salsa to take home. I spoke with the owner several times and she was so lovely, even included a special bottle of tequila for my husbands birthday. Each day was better than the next, leaving was real difficult. I’ve never been treated better, and can’t wait to return! We are hoping to do this every year! The house is perfect in so many ways, if you’re looking for the most magical trip, this is the place to go!

This was the nicest place to stay for any of the 27 family members here. The house was so spacious and well-kept. The staff on-site were so attentive to our ever need and want. We were never without. We were never in need. We weren’t looking for any flaws and there was no point, because there were none to be had. Felix, malana, Toni, Eduardo, victor and Alex all took great care of us. The housekeeping was so nicely done. They have a system that works well with your schedule while not getting in the way of any of us. The food. Spectacular. So so amazing. No complaints about anything. Miss Yvonneka treated us to something special for my mother’s birthday. So thoughtful. She called to check in twice while we were there a week. Luis at mexi-travels was always available and able to help. We needed round trip shuttle service, a few massages, some items shipped back to us and more. He was never out of reach and always so helpful. Eduardo and Malana did most all the shopping for us that I could notice. We had one minor incident with an ankle sprain and they were back with a walking boot and scooter within the hour! Top-notch service, food, ambiance, views, comfort and more. We will try our best to make it back, thanks for having us!

Homecoming 2017!!

We recently returned from a week at Casa Yvonneka with 18 family members, 4 generations ranging in age from 5 to 96 years young. Since it was our 4th visit, we knew what to expect.....the breathtaking views, the spacious, comfortable suites, the delicious meals, the fabulous staff. Our family was in countdown mode for weeks with their excitement and joy to return. Casa Yvonneka is our Mexican home, whose staff have become like family. Malena, Fernando, Tony, Felix and Betty and all the others are absolutely the BEST!! I told Malena that I hope heaven smells like her cooking. It is pure paradise for a relaxing pampered vacation. It's location is great for easy walks to shopping, restaurants (if you must leave), and the beach. It was fun to walk out the front door and explore the neighborhood. The front and rear entrances were always secured, with easy access to return. Yvonneka checked in with us to ensure a wonderful vacation was enjoyed by all. We had friends in Puerto Vallarta during the same time who finally got to visit Casa Yvonneka and they were amazed! They totally understood why we keep returning, in fact we made our return reservation before we left. We've travelled to PV for 17 years and have fallen in love with the weather, the city, and mostly the people. Casa Yvonneka is one small part of the city but is a genuine example of what you will find on your visit. Don't hesitate to book a stay, just please don't try to take our week in February! A beyond amazing experience

Casa Yvonneka is absolutely amazing. The villa itself and the pool deck are wonderful! The personal calls from Yvonneka to make sure everything was going well was a nice touch! The staff were absolutely awesome! They took such great care of us and they were so hospitable and friendly! We loved them! We loved everything about Casa Yvonneka and we would definitely stay here again! Can’t wait to be back! One of the best trips of our lives!

From the amazing staff to the softest sheets you’ll ever slumber on, Casa Yvonneka is worth every penny. Vonnie called me personally to check in and even provided several items gratis for my birthday week at the villa. You will not be disappointed, we will return in the future for sure!

Amazing vacation experience at Casa Yvonneka!

If you have a gathering of 20 or more discerning travelers, you need to put Casa Yvonneka at the very top of your list immediately. Everything from the location with stunning views and easy walk down into Old Town, the unique and well appointed rooms, the professional and doting staff (24/7 with security) and the food are all incredible. 24 of us (26 with friend's who joined for meals) came together to enjoy our friend's birthday and were left to enjoy ourselves while the Casa Yvonneka team took care of every detail. They blew up our pool toys for us at the local gas station and had them ready to go within an hour of arrival, decorated for the birthday - including a hand-made pinata that they had delivered to the house along with an amazing cake sourced from a local bakery. They served delectable meals for breakfast, snacks in the afternoon, full dinners with local fare you choose from an extensive menu as well as provided late-night snacks and delicious drinks poolside all day. As we enjoyed the incredible views and endless places to relax throughout the property, we didn't have a care in the world. Our entire group is well traveled yet few - if any of us - have experienced this level of ease and comfort on a trip in the past. We left with memories for a lifetime in large part due to our choice in staying at Casa Yvonneka!

2017 APS trip was incredible!

We just came home from an 8-day trip to Casa Yvonneka. This was our second visit and I'm still amazed at how beautiful this property really is. The kitchen staff supervised by Melana serves 5-star meals and the service is unmatched. This was a company trip, and the first 4 days had 10 couples, and we brought in a total of 26 people for the remaining 4 days. They serve 26 people better than most restaurants serve 10 people. The food is amazing and they will cook anything you select. Fernando, Tony and Felix also provide a service second to none. You will never go thirsty or hungry and when you leave you will want to come back many more times. We used to take our employees to different locations in different countries, but after finding Casa Yvonneka, we may never go anywhere else. If you want to go on excursions, Katia does an excellent job of arranging any trip you'd like to go on. The entire staff, from cooks, maids and servers is the best. Yvonne has put together a tremendous staff and they will go out of their way to make you comfortable and satisfied. I can't say enough good things about Casa Yvonneka! We all love it! Thanks for sharing your wonderful property with us!!

Stunning views and the true feel of old PV!

My wife and I visited Casa Yvonneka for the second time this past February. We brought in a dozen or so business associates for a three day stay and then followed that up with another week with six couples. We've visited PV many times and our stays at Casa Yvonneka have both been memorable. The staff, ALL OF THEM, are amazing. The head chef and her associates made wonderful meals for us morning, noon and night. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly and go out of their way to make every day special. They reminded us of the character Radar from the old sitcom M.A.S.H. Like Radar, the staff knew what we needed and wanted even before we did. All the rooms we used were beautiful and comfortable. The location is perfect. It's no more than a 10 minute walk to old downtown. We made trips into town every day to exercise, shop and sight see! Everybody in our party had a wonderful time and highly recommend the villa. You will see and feel the best of Puerto Vallarta when you stay here! Thanks, Yvonne, for another memorable vacation! Amazing!

Our sons surprised us with a week at this beautiful home for our family vacation! Every minute there was memorable! The home was clean tand comfortable! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and probably one of the best parts of this home! Food was amazing for every meal and snack! I would 100% recommend this home!

Vacation of a lifetime

We had the opportunity to get 20 of our best friends together and celebrate a combined bachelor/bachelorette party. The atmosphere, energy and experience Casa Yvonneka gave our group of friends was unforgettable. Yvonneka is by far the most beautiful home I have ever been inside of, while overlooking one of the best views of a city I've ever seen.

Best vacation EVER at Casa Yvonneka!

Our stay at Casa Yvonekka was more than I ever imagined. I did a lot of research before booking this house, because we had a group of 23 people to celebrate my fiancé and I’s upcoming wedding, so we wanted to find the best place out there. I can say with confidence, this place is IT!! Staff- This staff truly cares about getting to know you and providing you with the best experience possible and really made this a stress-free vacation. We never had to make a drink, clear a plate, make a bed, nothing! They go above and beyond. A few great examples- we took a boat to a private beach one day and Fernando walked us all the way to the pier just to ensure we made it safely. Felix, who spends the entire night at the house, was unreal. At 2am he would be up in the kitchen making fresh squeezed OJ for the next day as well as late night quesadillas. Food- with a group of 23, I expected buffet style, mediocre food (as most mass-prepared food is). Not the case here. Every single meal was homemade and so fresh. I would highly recommend going with breakfast and dinner each day (vs. lunch). We had eggs to order each day, which came with potatoes, beans and plates of bacon and French toast for the table. You are hardly hungry enough to eat lunch, but when we got hungry, we would snack on fresh ceviche, chips, guac, fruits & veggies. For dinners I recommend the chicken enchiladas and chicken and shrimp fajitas (homemade corn tortillas). We also had Italian one night (pasta bolognese), which was so delicious. I can’t say enough about the food…we didn’t end up eating out a single time on the entire trip because there was simply no reason to. Groceries- Malena does a great job of grocery shopping/ helping guide you on how much you will need. It was hard for me to estimate how much alcohol we would need, so the staff ended up doing an additional run the first day because we ran out of a few things. Each day you will decide what you want for breakfast, snacks and dinner the next day, and Malena handles it from there. Incredible organized and impressive! $$$- With 23 people, we came in at around $30 per person per day for food + alcohol, which is incredible considering the amount of high quality food and alcohol we consumed. For tips, they had recommended that we tip 15% of the nightly rate per day because it was low season (in high season, they recommend 10%). We gave more because it was VERY well deserved!!!!!!!

AMAZING!

The house was great for family and friends. It accommodates all ages. We had our grandma who was turning 99 yrs old and my son who was 4 yrs old. The staff was very respectful and attentive to our needs. The staff was absolutely amazing! The chef and house manager Malena was fantastic! She was helpful in meal planning for all of us including 4 yrs old that don't necessarily like tacos every night. The night watchman Felix was the best! He was more than happy to help us with drinks and night snacks, as well as making sure everything was safe. Thank you also to Fernando, Tony, and the maids for making our time the best experience we have ever had. The house is only about 10 min walk to the beach. Very easy walk and lots of shops to look at on your way to the beach. This house is nothing but heaven and I would go back!

Perfect for Families and Friends!

This is the second time I have stayed at Casa Yvonneka, but it won't be my last! I stayed here on my first trip to Puerto Vallarta several years ago with a group of longtime friends. The staff was warm and amazing, the food delicious and plentiful, the views breathtaking and the house itself beyond description. I returned this past month to meet the same group of friends and we knew we had to stay at Casa Yvonneka again. But this time, I brought my husband and two year 2 year old son. As LGBT parents who love to travel, we are always looking for a place that is more than just accommodating but also affirming and welcoming of our family. And Casa Yvonneka did not disappoint! The entire house staff warm full of love for our entire family and always went out of their way to make us feel at home. We are also vegetarian and Malena (the awesome chef) went out of her way to accommodate us at every meal. And of course all of the great aspects that helped me first fall in love with the house and the city were still there. We are already talking about when we can return! Brian and Alberto

Amazing!

We've been coming to PV for years and this is our new favorite place to stay! The location is perfect. It's a 5 minute walk to heart of the Zona Romantica and all the restaurants and entertainment this part of PV is famous for. And being a bit up the hill from all the hustle and bustle, sitting in that beautiful pool up in the sky gives you the peaceful mind clearing setting we all need on vacation. But best of all is the amazing staff! I dream all year long of that daily fresh guacamole and mango margaritas.

The absolute best group getaway

This was our second stay at this lovely home in PV and this time was even more magical than the first, something that I didn’t think was possible. Staying at Casa Yvonneka has become my top choice for a group getaway (and we are all travel snobs and travel the across the globe frequently). Nowhere else can you find such spacious and luxurious accommodations that are entirely private, breathtaking views of water and city, and an incredibly well-trained staff that serves you day and night – all at a very reasonable and affordable price. The staff is truly exceptional, treats you like family, and makes you feel like the home is your own. Both times we stayed here the service was consistently exceptional and the house has actually expanded since the last time we stayed here three years ago and there are now even more amazing bedrooms with spectacular views! I can’t wait to book my next stay at Casa Yvonneka and I hope to return very soon.

Phenomenal vacation villa

This was our second stay at the Casa Yvonneka with a reunion of 12 friends. We had a fantastic time. The villa itself is beautiful, with a wonderful indoor-outdoor space on the main floor with a cliff-side infinity pool overlooking a great ocean view where we spent most of our time; there were plenty of private rooms to retire to. Beach and restaurants were accessible with an easy walk. What stands out above all though was Yvonneka and her fantastic staff. Everyone was amazingly attentive, warm, and friendly. The great service combined with delicious meals, snacks, and drinks made our trip a truly luxurious experience!

Fabulous Private Resort

Just returned from a trip staying at a fabulous private luxury villa for our honeymoon with 16 of our best friends. The staff of seven with a personal chef was beyond perfection, with unbelievable food and service. We all highly recommend the property and have vowed to come back again. While the website is awesome it does not do justice to the amazing decor and ambiance of the villa. The perfect place to relax and enjoy overlooking the city of Puerto Vallarta. Please do not miss the opportunity to seek out Casa Yvonneka for your next getaway. A little slice of heaven.

What a beautiful villa and the views were breathta

I attended a party at the villa where many of my friends stayed during our class reunion. It was stunning and Yvonne and staff were the perfect host. Can't say enough

This villa is incredible. My only regret is that I didn't take in enough of the artwork/decorating while I was having so much fun for 3 nights at la casa for a destination birthday. Excellent food (and drink) and impeccable service. We ventured into the town one day, but honestly I couldn't wait to get back and lounge by the pool at la casa. We saved the exploring of Puerto Villarta until the second half of our vacation when we were at a very nice hotel...but the our hotel in PV was a serious downgrade from Casa Yvonneka. Everything at Casa Yvonneka was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed in the Tiffany suite. This suite was majestic. The staff could not have been better. All we had to do was ask for any food/drink and it was there very quickly by the staff. Muchos gracias to Malena, Felix, Tony, Betty, Berta, Cristy, and Miriam.

Perfection in every way.

From the moment we arrived at the house until the very sad moment that we left, Casa Yvonneka and their staff made our guests welcome beyond their imagination. The house itself is just absolutely beautiful with an eccentric collection of art work and furnishings throughout. It obviously is owned by someone who LOVES this place. The house is 7 stories so there is plenty of space for everyone to feel secluded and great common areas for when you want to socialize. The photos are exactly what you will get and then more. Every detail is special, not limited to the amazing linens in the house (one of my favorite details). The owner called a few times to make sure we had everything we need and was so sweet to send me a birthday gift (the reason why we traveled) and had her staff arrange for the best birthday cake EVER. XOXOXO The amazing house is staffed by even more special staff, run by the #1 Malena. Malena made sure that each and every thing she touched was golden. Her support staff love what they do, love taking care of the guests and make you feel at home. We were a party of 20 adults who have different tastes, needs and desires and there was not ONE need that was not accommodated by this amazing team of people. We had vegans in our group and Malena went out of her way to prepare special vegetarian delecacies, including soy chorizo and the most amazing guacamole, just as an example. Smart, sweet, funny, there when you need her - Malena <3. Fernando and Tony's margaritas and specialty cocktails could not be any better and there was never an empty glass! Felix, up all night, squeezing the most sweet orange juice you will ever have, making guacamole and quesadillas , was always on hand to take care of the night crawlers and all with the best smile. House was always cleaned discretely by the ladies behind the scenes: Betty, Berta, Cristy and Miriam when they were not helping Malena pull it all together. Thank you all and my whole crew misses each and every one of you. The house is within walking distance to the beach and the zona romantic and the entire area is completely safe. People are so kind there. The best review that this global traveler could give would be to tell you that she cannot wait to go back and this heavily traveled girl is counting the minutes until she can return. I love the Casa Yvonneka and their staff. See you soon! Thanks again for everything! WE LOVED EVERYTHING!!

Five Stars are NOT ENOUGH STARS for Perfection!

Casa Yvonneka is truly heaven-on-earth. We arrived with a large party for a milestone birthday celebration. The house, location, and staff far exceeded my wildest expectations. The house was clean, spacious, and had a very thoughtful layout that allowed for many different activities to occur simultaneously; swimming, reading, drinking, cards, sleeping, billiards - there was room and time for it all! We did walk to the Zona Romantica (an easy 10 minute walk), but we primarily spent our time at the beautiful home, enjoying the delicious cuisine cooked by Malena, and the wonderful hospitality from Fernando, Felix and Tony. Betty, Berta, Cristy, and Miriam took care of every need that our guests had during the day and evening, and Felix was quick to help us late into the evening. Felix and Tony made delicious drinks, kept our snacks flowing, and were quick to ensure that we had everything we needed. Katya was very helpful as our concierge, and arranged taxis, massages, and pedicures inside the home. We had some Spanish-speakers in our party, but the staff was very good-natured about the rest of the party practicing their Spanish in the house. Puerto Vallarta was beautiful, and I'm honestly not sure that I can ever return to another part of Mexico, or even another hotel or villa in PV, as I'll never stop dreaming about Casa Yvonneka! THIS is your dream vacation!
