"We would highly recommend The Fanny Talbot. Our room was lovely and spacious with an added bonus of a kitchenette area. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. The staff are very welcoming and the service at the restaurant was also top notch. We ate there the first night and had the set menu. Each plate was exceptional. We would definitely return."

"The accommodation itself was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, the building itself needed a bit of care in places but because this is a community owned building the money is needed for other things like the rooms which have been done. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. "A lovely, peaceful stay with gracious and friendly hosts who were always happy to help out if needed. Nice clean linen and towels and a nice modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious each morning. "

"Very close to the beach, on the other side of the main road through the village. Free parking overnight opposite the hotel, though a max stay of 45 minutes through the day. It's an old building, so the floors creak, but that wasn't a problem. The staff were great and everything was easy. Breakfast was good."

"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! "Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window.
