Excellent welcome, superb rooms with nice little touches. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had to leave early in the morning so they arranged for bacon butties to be ready for us. Although we could not sit and enjoy the full breakfast experience, the menu was extensive and looked amazing.

The position of the hotel was very good , the rooms were fabulous a good size and very clean. Break fast was really good and cooked well I would recommend the poached eggs perfectly cooked. There are no negatives about this property.

Det här hotellet var det bästa vi bodde på under resan (både Manchester och Wales) bekvämt, rymligt och närhet. Hade inte så mycket att göra med personalen. Fantastisk hotell med en fantastisk utsikt i trapporna upp till rummen.

I had a beautiful 3 night stay, gorgeous view from my window. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff very helpful and friendly. Travelling alone was a little daunting but I needn't have worried, I was very comfortable and felt safe.

The room was really nice.but there was mould in the bathroom.all night long and an extracter fan was going.so didn't get much sleep. The pub itself really needed a good clean.breakfast was very greasy. Staff were really helpful except for the girl who was speaking Welsh all the time.she wasn't very helpful but the guys who worked there were great.i wouldn't return but wouldn't return to barmouth.it was dirty & rundown.dog poo everywhere.dogs everywhere you went.

Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require accessibility :-)

Good stuff, parking well controlled, check in fine, room on the surface looked good, breakfast quite nice Bad stuff, car chargers wouldn’t work (tried 4), noise from the external ac units kept us awake, strobe from smoke detector kept us awake, noise from presume staff and others kept us awake, security light coming on all the time kept us awake, shower door missing meaning water soaks the floor (door to bathroom doesn’t close properly without effort due to water damage) the window locks on the sash window didn’t work and no restricters (health and safety hazard) ac in room very noisy All this meant we left a day early as couldn’t do two nights without sleep, could only imagine that the Friday night would have been worse for noise from outside Sadly won’t be choosing this place to stay should we return to Barmouth

On the whole a very good stay. Tillman pub is nice and not too noisy and they served a great breakfast. Staff were really friendly. Bedroom was roomy and well equipped with nice decor. Good sized en suite with walk in shower and large fluffy white towels. The reason I've not given an excellent rating is that there was mould on the walls in the en suite in a number of places. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was in great condition. Wouldn't put me off going again as everything else was very good.

Excellent stay for our 38th Wedding Anniversary. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom with a walk in shower and a Bath. The staff were so friendly and obliging. The Breakfast was delicious and so was a meal in the evening we both had. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice sized TV. The car park was secure and had a security Barrier which impressed my hubby. 10/10 for all staff who all work extremely hard to cater for all their guests.

Breakfast very good, room nice size, good bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Only problem, extractor fan from neighbouring restaurant, but nothing they can do about that. Keep window closed and the a/c works fine. All in all, nice place.

Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast. Although beautifully served, the quality of some of the items let the main breakfast down. Overall was an enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Tilman. Check in was great, we were asked if we wanted a hand with our luggage despite the bar being full. The room, no 1, overlooked the road but the noise was negligible as there was secondary glazing. Bed very comfortable. Great shower and towels. Water and soft drink provided along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast was amazing. A great choice of cooked options and cereals, yoghurts, pastries etc. We found the ingredients of very good quality. We had one dinner, burger and chips which, again, was super tasty. Purple Moose IPA can be recommended. Parking was just around the corner in a private car park. Very helpful. Last, but by no means least, the staff were super friendly and engaging. We felt very welcome. Thank you all. We had a great time.

Rooms was lovely. We had room 11 which was right at the top as we asked for a high floor. Bed very comfy and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Barmouth
