This property is in a great location to enjoy all that Grace Bay has to offer! Loved being able to walk to shops, restaurants and the grocery store. OCW resort is beautiful and the onsite restaurant and beach bar were favorites. The condo is clean and comfortable- we had plenty of room to relax. Leola was amazing to work with- she made us feel very welcome and everything was perfect!

Great Experience

We had a great vacation. Would definitely stay again. The place was great for 2 couples. We would also consider staying there with our 2 kids. Good size for 4 people. Leone was very welcoming, had the place ready early & very informative. Resort is nice, great beach bar, chairs & umbrellas included & access to Grace Bay!

Amazing place and customer service

We would stay there again. The place was in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The beach was a quick walk and had enough chairs. The property manager was easy to work with and gave us a lot of great ideas on things to do. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect

Great location. We could walk to everything. The place was comfortable and clean. It is on the back side of the resort adjacent to a busy street but it was not noisey and even sitting on the balcony was more of a hustle and bustle sound at the busiest time of the year. Charlene showed us in and was a pleasure to deal with. The beach was amazing and the pool was great. I thought the beach was not very close looking at the map but it was a very short walk--close enough to walk back for a bottle of water or to use the bathroom. Would stay here again.

Great location for exploring Grace Bay on foot

Very spacious, comfortable, and accommodating. Walking distance to pretty much everything. My only suggestion would be to have a cart/wagon for groceries.

Great Trip to Grace Bay

This condo was perfect for our family of 4! We stayed for a week over the New Year holiday. The location was terrific, a very easy walk to the beautiful Grace Bay beach. Restaurants, shopping, and the grocery store were also very short walks away from the condo. There is plenty of parking on site, and the property manager, Leola, was wonderful! I highly recommend staying here.

Great last minute trip

We were supposed to go somewhere else but there was a hurricane. So at the last minute we chose Turks & Caicos. With not much planning, we ended up at Ocean Bay West condo. It was clean, had snorkeling gear for us 4 plus some, beach chairs, and a cooler. The cooler was perfect to pack lunches and waters for our days at the beach. The beach is beautiful, the location is good, we did rent a car to see other parts of the island and I’m glad we did. We would stay here again.

Great Location

The location was fantastic! You are on the beach, great location in Grace Bay and proximity to restaurants, hotels and bars. Walking distance to coffee shops, grocery store & pharmacy/urgent care. However, our specific condo needs upgrades for sure. Furniture is worn, wear and tear is very evident. Coffee maker was cheap and flimsy, there is an old “ihome” device taking up counter space and a broken in-built microwave, making the counter top microwave a space killer. We made friends with other travelers in the Plaza and the resort proper and found out many of the condos were updated and beautiful. Ours was not. The amenities were also misrepresented. The VRBO listing said we would have access to bikes and you do not. The smirking gear was broken, there wasn’t a cooler (property manager did bring one later), and there were not kids games of any sort. A bit disappointing.

Spacious Condo

We had a great time staying at the Ocean Club West Plaza. The condo had everything you need and is very spacious. We had one small issue that was resolved quickly. The decor is definitely dated but has that island feel. The kitchen needs non stick frying pans but that was not an issue. Bigger coffee cups would be great too. The resort has a nice pool and the beach is amazing! You have free use of the beds and umbrellas. There are chairs and other items in the condo if you venture further afield.

Wonderful week

This was just what we were looking for - clean, great air conditioning, comfortable beds , plenty of space and just had to walk across the resort to get to the beach. Pros: Condo itself was perfect for our family of 4. Had everything we needed, fantastic location . Small but nice exercise room at the resort. Beach wasn’t too crowded and we could always get chairs. Nice to have the beach bar fight there for cool drinks. Pool goes in a circle - large and fun for all ages. Beautiful landscaping Easy walk to grocery store Our checkin person/concierge was super friendly and helpful - gave us an overview of the island, arranged taxis, offered to help with anything . It was a little confusing how to check in , but she was waiting for us at the condo and found us after a few minutes of us walking around Cons You can use the pool, tennis courts and beach chairs but not all the resort amenities (can’t use the grills, bikes , towel service , check out rackets, have to pay for kayaks or SUP). They do provide towels and tennis rackets at the condo, so that was fine, but no paddle tennis rackets . We didn’t rent a car and could walk everywhere , but next time I think I would get a car just to explore more. If you like beachside snorkeling the. Definitely go to the West entrance to smith reef- it was great. We would definitely come back here .

Affordable Grace Bay stay!

Great location! Able to walk to several places. We rented a car for airport, grocery, and various locations around the island. Easy check in/out. Able to use the Ocean Club West resort amenities without the prices! Leola was just a phone call away!

Best of both worlds

This property was such a find! All the convenience and proximity of a beach-front resort, but without the service charges and fees of a resort/hotel. Property was exactly as pictured, and location was convenient. Walkable to stores, restaurants, and Grace Bay beach. My teen daughters could come and go independently from the beach, and we felt safe. In July, the heat was no joke, but the A/C works GREAT! We used the money we saved on a VRBO vs. a resort to charter a sailing trip and explore an uninhabited island. We jet skied, cliff jumped at Split Rock, Parasailed at Grace Bay beach, and used the snorkel gear at the condo to drive our rental car down to Smith’s Reef one morning to swim with the sea turtles. What a great and memorable vacation!

Penthouse 305 at the Plaza Ocean Club Resort

Property location was great. The stairs was an issue at times. There were issues with the 2nd bedroom bath. Shower door did not contain the water to the shower so had flooded. Also the plunger for the sink was broken. We did report however was not repaired while we were there. Other than that enjoyed the overall property and facilities.

Great location!

The condo was clean with comfortable beds and was a short walk away from beautiful Grace Bay beach. Check in was easy and Randy was always available to help. The location is very close to shopping and some great restaurants, so we didn’t need to rent a car!

Great location!

The condo was super close to the Grace bay beach, only a 2-3 min walk back through the resort! They had beach chairs, snorkel gear, flippers, everything you would need to have a great stay. The property manager was really nice and worked with us during the check in process. I would highly recommend!

The condo was just as advertised. The venue was magnificent. We spent most days at the beach, but when we came back to the condo, we had what we needed; a kitchen with stuff to cook, a comfy bed and well appointed bathroom! Sitting out on the balcony was pleasant too in the evening. There is a short walk across the parking lot to get to the resort and the awesome beach. I will recommend the grouper for dinner at the restaurant as well...had to have it twice!! Thanks for letting us use your place!!

Amazing experience

Everything met our expectations, Randy did such an awesome job explaining everything about our condo and the places to visit. We have 3 children and there was not a problem at all with no being an elevator. Groceries, restaurants, and shopping centers are within walking distance. The Ocean Club staff was so nice and the Solara restaurant was exquisite. Our Condo did not have an ocean view from our balcony but it was not a big deal since by the time we were at the condo we were extremely tired from a full day of activities that T&C had to offer. I would recommend Ocean club west at the plaza and We will definitely come back next year.
