Nice spot and overall OK. However, needs some TLC and updating. Couch stained and needs to be replaced, light fixture missing in guest bath shower and ceiling needs to be finished, 1 hair dryer for 2 bedrooms, internet non-existent in bedrooms (there is an extender, but obviously doesn't work), cable remotes falling apart, main AC vent had caked on dust, and dust also on all the hangers in the closets - which we needed to clean. I'd give the resort 4 stars, but the unit 3 stars.

This location is true paradise! The view of the ocean from the condo patio is unobstructed and one of the most gorgeous I have ever seen. The unit and property are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was a true dream to watch and hear the ocean from the patio, walk to the ocean and beach easily, as well as access the properties pool and hot tub just out the front door. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing vacation!

This was our third time to Turks and Caicos and our second stay at Villa Renaissance. The location is excellent with plenty of shopping and restaurants all in walking distance. Water so crystal clear that I've never experienced anywhere else. Staff was friendly and always helpful. We rented a car, but it wouldn't be necessary. Great snorkeling at Smith's Reef and a fantastic reef fishing trip with M & J's Charters.

Another great stay at Villa Renaissance!

This is our second time visiting Villa Renaissane and we loved it just as much this time as last time! The location, beach access, pool, and great layout of the condos make this a perfect fit for our family of 5. This unit was great in particular, because we were able to walk right out from the patio to the beach. The kids really loved that! The furnishings were modern and we appreciated the twin beds in the second room (as opposed to one double bed). The staff at VR is lovely and we also really appreciated the daily housekeeping. We look forward to returning next year!

Beautiful Property

Amazing property. Room is spectacular. View is even better in person. Pool is a bit odd on location in the middle, but was never crowded. Only complaint is I felt like even if I cleaned my feet at the door, the sand was all over the unit, even after we tried to clean it up.

Great stay at Villa Renaissance

Great property. 30-something couple, stayed for 6 nights in Dec 2024. It's a hybrid between a hotel and condo. We would definitely stay in this unit/complex again. Unit is as pictured. Pros: -Superb location, walkable to tons of great restaurants and the Graceway Gourmet grocery -Easy check in that included a welcome-rum punch -Free parking -Great ocean view from the kitchen/living area. Unit is main floor so you can walk out to the beach. -Generally quiet. -Access to gym (small, but got the job done), tennis, pickle ball, and beach loungers. -Clean. Included daily housekeeping. Cons: -Master bedroom mattress is ready for replacement, it was a little hammock-y -There were some mosquitos in the unit (this may be typical to this region?) Note the unit is ground floor, but it takes ~7 stair steps to access the front door. Would be problematic for someone with mobility issues.

Our Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa. This was our 2nd year coming and our first year in this unit. We opted for the ground floor this time because we have a 5 month old baby (and a 4 year old!). It worked perfectly. We could walk right off the back balcony to the walkway/beach. The room was perfect for us. A plus was that the baby monitor stretched to the pool, so we could enjoy some pool time when the baby was sleeping. Our 4 year old (3 and 11 months), had an absolute blast his second year in a row. The staff was very friendly. They even made him a special "rum punch" every day which he really enjoyed. All of the other guests were also very friendly and accomodating. We would love to come back again!

Another week in paradise

Great week spent at the Villa Renaissance! This is now our 6th or 7th time here, and we keep coming back because it checks all of the boxes for our family. Beautiful condos, right on the best beach in the world, with a great location close to the grocery store and countless restaurants, all with very lovely staff. I can't say enough about this place. Our condo this year was awesome. We really loved being on the first floor -- great views, lovely outdoor patio, just steps from the pool and beach. We would love to stay in this exact condo again -- great kitchen, great den and TV, great bathrooms and beds, and great WIFI. Wonderful service from the front desk, poolside bar staff, and ocean staff. Highly recommend! If your family wants to relax at a peaceful, "low energy" resort in immaculate condition, and just chill, read, swim, and nap, this is your place. For us, it's perfection.

Amazing trip

Everything was described as accurately in the description as it was when we experienced it. Everything was close easy, clean fun, and we can’t say enough amazing things about the villa we stayed at we definitely made the best choice in terms of cleanliness, quietness and great location we will be back yearly.

Peaceful Getaway on the Beach

Perfect location, on the beach, quiet with hardly any people around. We felt we had the place to ourselves most days. Condo was lovely, clean, and plenty of bath amenities. Cute blue kitty sculptures. Beautiful view of the ocean off the veranda. Across the street from The Salt Mills for shopping, art galleries, and restaurants. Walkable to grocery store to stock our fridge. The Villa Renaissance isn’t your typical resort where drinks and food are readily available at your beck and call. They do have a bar that’s open for certain hours, but the food they had to pick up from another location. This is more of a quiet, relaxing location. And it pushes you to venture out of the Villas to walk to other restaurants which you should do anyway on vacation. We would stay there again for sure as it was so chill and beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was a little slow, but well…island life! Thank you to our hosts who let us rent their lovely condo for five days, you have a nice home and are blessed with such a beautiful location! Thank you for making us feel comfortable and welcome! My husband and I have been to Turks a few times before, and I told him we should stay here next time! We like quiet locations with less people around, and The Villa Renaissance was perfect!
