Absolutely fantastic stay at the Dolphin Hale. So many things to complement the team on. House was clean, as advertised and tons of very helpful amenities like beach/snorkel gear, kitchen utensils, coookies on arrival, well stocked pantry. The views are amazing! Saw lots of whales and many bird species. We had 11 in our party including 2 toddlers under 4 and it slept us all very well with plenty of room. The hosts were fantastic and gave replies to questions very quickly and happily. Overall a fantastic stay!

The view from the house is breathtaking; the house is stunning, especially the kitchen; and the availability of an island hostess was a blessing. We are a very diverse group ranging from 4 to 80 years old; but we all agreed the Dolphin Hale is near heaven on earth

This home is absolutely lovely. Our host was very responsive and there were more amenities than I expected, including an air fryer and a blender. The beach is a 10 minute drive away but the views from the deck more than make up for the lack of beach access. And if you have to work on vacation, the master bedroom has a desk with the most stunning view. The home is in a quiet and beautiful Princeville neighborhood with a grocery store just minutes away to stock up on food and drinks. We highly recommend this property!

The Dolphin Hale was perfect for our family vacation at Princeville. We had our family, our sister's family and our mother on this trip. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed eating together at the large dining table, then we could hang out together in the living area with great views of lush green trees and the ocean. The deck is spacious. The kitchen is fantastic with very nice appliances and everything you need to prep, cook, and serve food. There was plenty of counter space for food prep. A new rice cooker was provided for our use. There is a separate beverage fridge on the main floor and a separate freezer in the garage. The bed rooms are downstairs and have ceiling fans and an extra fan. The garage has a washer/dryer and even a long table is provided to make it easier to fold clothes and towels. It is obvious that the owner has put much thought and consideration into making this place a very comfortable home away from home. We had such a wonderful stay at The Dolphin Hale and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Stay at the Dolphin Hale

This house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation to Kauai. From the size and layout to the amazing ocean view. We loved having a very large and well stocked kitchen for our cooking. We enjoyed many great home cooked meals on the deck with a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were all very well appointed and beds were comfortable. It was an amazing stay. We were here during the recent tsunami warning and I was so impressed to have been contacted by the owner and onsite contact offering any assistance we may have needed. I would highly recommend The Dolphin Hale for anyone looking for a beautiful vacation stay. Location could not have been better. We had a BLAST!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dolphin Hale. A great location with beautiful ocean views from the back deck. Really convenient to all activities on the North Shore of Kauai. The gourmet kitchen was very well appointed and equipped and we cooked and enjoyed some fabulous meals. Having a high-chair available was very handy for our young ones. There was some great beach gear (chairs and umbrellas) that we utilized almost every day. The house did get a little on the warm side during the day with just one A/C unit in the main room, but it would eventually cool down in the late afternoon with the windows open and a nice breeze coming in. We highly recommend this house and look forward to coming back soon!

Incredible location for a wonderful celebration!

We stayed at The Dolphin Hale for our 30th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful! The home is beautiful, clean, and well-organized, with incredible views in the prestigious Princeville neighborhood. It had everything we needed and more.The host was easy to communicate with, and we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift. Ms. Miller, the on-island contact, was friendly and responsive, and Chris gave great local tips. The kitchen was a dream—fully stocked for cooking. We appreciated the hotel-style toiletries, makeup washcloths, and clear labels throughout the house, which made everything easy to use. The home also came with snorkel gear and boogie boards. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and house rules were clearly outlined.A couple of notes: The lower bedrooms don’t have A/C, which was surprising at first, but once we opened windows and used fans, we slept incredibly well. Also, there are quite a few rules, but many are neighborhood-imposed. One night, we had a memorable encounter with two giant cane spiders—startling but part of the island experience and no fault of the hosts!Overall, we had an amazing stay. The Dolphin Hale is ideal for a special occasion or relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend!

Great Home, Great Service

My family of 10 stayed at Dolphin Hale. From the start the communication about the home was fast, friendly, and helpful. This continued through our entire stay. The home is in a wonderful location with easy access to all that HI has to offer. The large kitchen, common area, lanai, and hot tub provided plenty of opportunity to relax and connect. I was very impressed with the home and the team that manages it. I would definitely rent it again.

Outstanding North Shore Property

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Hale with our family. The property (and process) fully met all of our high expectations. Amazing kitchen and view from the living area. Very walkable neighborhood with albatross nests at nearby properties.It is a slit level home that requires a lot of steps which wasn’t a problem for us. Upstairs living area and entry bedroom are AC’d. All other bedrooms downstairs (no AC) which cooled down nicely each evening.Would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a large property in the Princeville neighborhood. FYI - We walked 20 min to catch the shuttle bus at the Makai golf course which took us to the Nāpali Coast hike.

fabulous fun

the home and view were beautiful. centrally located and close to grocery store, which was a plus for last minute items. after active days filled with hiking, golfing, foiling, snorkeling, etc., the hot tub was an added bonus for tired muscles. kitchen : eating areas were roomy for nine adults sharing cooking duties. home layout also allowed for quiet:me time for individuals as well. we couldn’t have asked for a better home our vacation.
