Wonderful stay. Property is beautifully decorated and well- appointed. Fully stocked kitchen everything you need for a beach day. Beautiful views and location a short walk from 1Hotel where we often went for lattes and beach. Special bonus: both owner, Donna, and caretaker, Mindy, were extremely responsive and helpful, even when I needed a dentist the day after Christmas. Mindy found one for me! Highly recommend A

Perfect location. Very clean and had everything a family could need. Enjoyed the early mornings having coffee and watching the birds. And the evenings strolling along the front and watching the sunset. There was amble beach supplies and hiking gear. Close to the beach about 5 min walk one had a lot of steps but was paved. Parking was easy but had a few people that would park in the location when it was sunset time, they did move when we asked. Would highly recommend this location it’s perfect.

Amazing Place

We had a an absolute blast staying here. We had everything we needed/wanted. Walk to beach was close, walk to Welina Terrace Restaurant/Bar was even closer. We stayed with our two adult children and their SO's and we had more than enough space. We want to return the as soon as we are able.

Perfect place to stay in Princeville

Lovely house in a perfect location! We did do quite a bit of driving to see the whole island, but it was worth it. The owner was super responsive and communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the wonderful home near Hideaways and the 1 Hotel. Easy drive into Hanalei and the Haena State Park. Thoughtful amenities! We wish we could stay another week or month!

Perfect stay for our first Kauai experience

Wonderful home and location for our first visit to Kauai. The owners truly want to share their knowledge and experiences with you, providing an in-depth guide on the sights and opportunities available on the island along with the amenities you need including beach, snorkeling and hiking gear. Nice, comfortable and very well-appointed home with stunning views. Excellent communication with the owner, who checked in with us throughout the trip. We would love to stay here again!

Lovely, comfortable property with great views

Comfortable, pretty free-standing cottage perched on a hillside with great views in either direction! The well kept house has everything you could need - local bath products, surfer microfiber towels, a closet full of beach gear, stocked modern kitchen, comfortable furniture and nice linens, a top notch guidebook with tons of great local recommendations, ukuleles, and much more. It is obviously a place that the owners love and have used themselves for many years, and it shows. It's part of a golf course community and there are tons of people jogging or walking by, looking at the amazing view from the bluff across the street from the villa. It's about 2 miles to the town of Princeville but you can walk to a couple of restaurants (the golf course grill, a highly rated breakfast place that was closed when we were there) AND it's just up the street from the super fancy 1 Hotel, that has several high end restaurants and bars. The hotel entry post was restricting non-guests from walking in when we were there (spring break week) but if you walk down to the public beach along the side steps (Puu Poa Beach) - the beach bar is right there, and you can access the hotel. Amazing sunset drinks! One thing to note: if you have little kids or older folks (like we did) the beach access from this cottage is not easy. It's a long walk with a lot of stuff down a steep hill or steps. We ended up driving around for easier beaches, which was fine - just something to know. Mahalo Donna!

Couldn't Be More Perfect

This has to be one of the best equipped rental properties we have ever stayed at. Truly felt like you were in a home away from home. The location was also great - especially for viewing sunsets and the birds and greenery off the back of the property. The stay was just perfect!

A perfect house

This was a perfect house for our first visit to Kauai. The homeowners have thought of everything. They manage it themselves and put a lot of attention to detail into their home. The house was spotlessly clean and you really have everything you could think of (i.e. beach towels, umbrella, chairs, supplies like laundry detergent, etc). The location was also good, within walking distance to a golf course and some restaurants. We had a rental car and there was an assigned parking spot near the house for us. We will definitely recommend the villa to others.

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s our 5th visit to the island and 3rd time renting through VRBO, and it was our favorite rental property by far. The location was perfect, decoration of the house was very welcoming, and spacious enough for 5 of us. Appreciated their beach equipments and tumble water bottles which we used daily. I wasn’t used to using an electronic stove top, but other than that, their kitchen is well equipped as well. Very comfortable stay. Loved the mountain and the ocean views, walking distance to 1 Hotel and Hideaway beach. We’ll definitely try to stay here again on our next visit. Thank you Donna!

Tropical Bliss!

Villa 29 was a great escape! The ocean out the front door and then the tropical jungle from the back lanai was breathtaking! The villa inside was just as special with everything one needs to experience a truly fun and relaxing vacation.

Donna is a great host. Her communication and attention to detail is top tier! We just got back and already long to be sitting back on the lanai. The location of this villa is prime. One side is a jungle and mountains with waterfalls. The other is a Cliffside ocean view the commands a crowd at sunset. However this site your front yard. The best shopping, beaches, views and restaurants are literally steps away from your Villa. Great for a photographer such as myself. With potential gardens and the queens bath at your doorstep. I didn't want to leave.

We love Kauai

The location of the property is incredible! Views outside front door and back door are breathtaking. Home is well equipped with everything you need for your travels including cooking essentials (like oil, flour, sugar, and spices), beach gear (umbrellas chairs, coolers, and sunscreen), tp and paper towels, and some toiletries. Very comfortable accommodations. Communication with owner fast and reliable. Our family had the best time in Kauai and cannot wait to go back. Thank Donna and your family!

Second year in a row staying here.Great Property, great host! Property has all the items you can think of including beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, binoculars ( you get the drift!). Kitchen is well equipped with most items you can think of. Host is great and responds to all inquiries.

Best location and views

This is absolutely one of the best rental properties. You cannot beat enjoying coffee on the lanai with views of the mountains or hearing the ocean out the front door. Beach is just a short 5-10 minute walk. The house has every amenity you could wish for, including all beach gear. Donna and Chase were extremely accommodating and were so generous with a welcome birthday gift. We cannot recommend this place enough.
