Lukewarm showers was somewhat a problem. Pool seems like it could be blue-er in appearance (it looks a little dirty in my opinion, even if it’s not). Overall, nice place, though. Great customer service. Condo well stocked.

The unit had stunning views and all amenities needed for a great time. Unfortunately there was a mold smell in all the units beds. The washer and drier were a key element as we washed tge sheets and it took care of the issue. Not sure if this smell was from the the resets washing machines but once we washed with our detergent there was no smell. Besides this small issue it was a great stay and a great resort!

We had an amazing stay and enjoyed every second of our visit to Kauai. This condo is perfect and has everything you need for cooking, swimming, enjoying the view and going to the beach. Belinda was great to work with and about 2 days in I realized most of the artwork hanging on the walls is hers. It’s beautiful! I cannot recommend this place enough and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Another thing to note: I was traveling with my 80 year old parents and this place is ground floor with no steps. That was a huge perk for us. It’s also steps away to the beach path and made catching the shuttle easy.

Sunset Paradise

Host and manager were so accommodating and kind. The manager even brought us a top notch blender when the existing one failed. The location and sunset views were amazing - just staring at the scenery is enough to fill the senses. This property was no less than perfect for my two sons and their children along with their Oma and Opa. The property is as well maintained as it was when we began coming here 40 years ago. Thanks Belinda and Chris.

Beautiful Views - units were clean and comfortable

I had a wonderful experience there at Hanalei Bay. The views were spectacular. The pool was delightful- and the unit was very comfortable. Management was very responsive. The only frustrating thing was parking as we had a large van and it was very difficult as the stalls were for more compact cars, and not enough parking all around. We totally would book again- definitely a repeat vacation!!

Totally Magical

We had the best time staying with our family of four and our friends (also a family of four) in Belinda's adjoining units. It was very clean, we were provided with everything we needed, and Belinda (and the onsite staff) were incredibly helpful and accommodating to our questions/requests. The view was even more stunning than the listing - the photos just can't do it justice! In total, we were a group of four adults and four kids (ages 1, 4, 4, and 8). We all felt that the layout of the units (and the added bonus of the outdoor lawn off the lanai) gave us ample room to be together when we wanted to and take a moment alone if needed. The range of nearby activities was so convenient for having young kids - swimming, pickleball, tennis, easy beach access, lizard and frog hunting, restaurants, outdoor games, walks, other HBR-hosted activities. Also just a short drive from the magic of Hanalei and other activities inside/just outside of Princeville. Belinda was so kind and sent us updates/ideas before and during our stay in case we needed recs for things to do or places to eat. A week just wasn't enough time here. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

Amazing view with resort amenities

We had a wonderful stay at Belinda’s property! The three units were exactly as described — clean, spacious for five adults and fully stocked with everything we needed. The resort amenities were a huge bonus. We really enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and on-site dining was very convenient after a long day.The walk down to the beach was easy enough that we didn't need to call for a golf cart. We really appreciated the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler provided for our use. The location was a short drive to everything we were doing on the North Shore.Belinda was a fantastic host — responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with from the start. We’d absolutely come back just to sit on the lanai and soak up the amazing view. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Princeville.

Perfect Princeville Stay

We had an amazing stay at Belinda's VRBO! The location couldn't have been better — close to all the best beaches, hikes, and restaurants on the North Shore. The resort itself was beautiful and so family-friendly, with pools, tennis courts, and easy beach access. The unit was well-stocked with everything we needed for beach days, like chairs and coolers, which made everything so easy. It was the perfect home base for exploring Kauai, and we can't wait to come back!

Peaceful getaway and beautiful view

We loved this property. The accommodations were excellent. The view was unbelievable! We would definitely come back and stay here. Love the North Shore - there is so much to do and this gave us easy access. Loved the Happy Talk Lounge on property! So much fun! Also want to add that the owner and on site staff were outstanding! Great place to stay

The whole family had a wonderful vacation. The view from the patio can't be beat and we spent a lot of time just taking it in. We rented all three rooms for me and my husband, my parents and my daughters 2 and 4. We had everything we needed and had plenty of space for everyone. The pool and beach were great and the kids loved the Koi ponds at check in. The adjoining hotel style doors between units were a little tricky with small children because we couldn't close them all the way during nap time without them being locked from one side. We definitely would love to stay here again and would recommend it!

Awesome condo in an awesome resort!

Condo was awesome for a family of 6. More than enough room to spread out. The views from the patio are next level (pics don't do it justice). The trail down to the beach is right outside your door and the pool/restaurants are super close. The owner, Belinda, was very responsive. We loved our time at Hanalai Bay Resort and would definitely recommend this listing!!

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing stay at Belinda’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the place. Belinda and the HBR were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property itself exceeded our expectations - spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with most of the amenities we needed. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the patios, where we enjoyed our morning coffee or relaxed in the evenings after a day of exploring North Kauai. The location was perfect for us. The easy access to a beautiful beach as well as the amazing pool was enjoyed by our family. Communication with Belinda was seamless. She was responsive and provided helpful tips and recommendations for local attractions and dining options. We would highly recommend Belinda’s unit(s) to anyone looking for a home away from home in North Kauai. Thank you again, Belinda, for a wonderful experience!

Mecca in paradise

The unit and resort are all that a family needs to experience the joys of the north side of this lovely island without ever leaving. Views of Bali Hai are in your face as shown. Unit has all the kids toys, and beach equipment you need. Pool and beach are fantastic. Tennis facilities are super and Pickleball is coming soon. The staff at this resort are super friendly and helpful. Bar foods at restaurant and the pizza restaurant are better than most in the states. Live music was superb. On island manager was super responsive and helpful. Kitchen is small, but functional. You will want to do carry out most of the time. Unit is clean, with super showers and linens. Pool towels from resort are thin, but adequate and refreshed at front desk so you can exchange as often as you like. Only negative is that fees charged by resort were recently astronomically increased and this was apparently not well conveyed to owner in time for notifying renters. There is now a check in fee of $50, a $22 resort fee and parking fee that has increased from $7 to $20 per day per car. The manager is in the process of crediting us for the increased fees and will be updating listing. The other note is that the unit is not accessible by car. Parking lot is remote, but shuttle was provided usually promptly if needed when you did not want too walk or had groceries. Walk from closest part of lot is 5 minutes for active seniors or slow children. Sunsets are magnificent.

Hanalei Bay Resort is an amazingly beautiful. The surrounding are gorgeous. Our condo was clean and decorated nicely. Had everything you needed for your convenience. We will be back again, for sure.
