The appliances were a pleasant surprise. The washer and dryer are huge. The fridge was sufficiently cold, and there were ice cubes!
Having linens provided saved us space when packing. Other niceties that are often forgotten - toilet paper, tissues, dish soap, etc. - were graciously provided and appreciated.
The upstairs suite is a great adult space for those with kids. That bathroom has a unique soaking tub, where I enjoyed reading one of the books I found on the shelves.
Comcast cable and internet is provided, which is what we have at home, so there was no old-geezer learning curve for satellite services.
We've vacationed on the Eastern Shore for 25 years, and this is the best property we've ever found for our needs: two adults, two dogs.
The dog enclosure is larger than it appears, providing ample space for play. It was much like what we have at home, so the dogs quickly understood where we were going when we left the garage.
We took a dog crate but didn't need it. There is a non-carpeted room that is perfect for leaving your dogs when you go places where they can't accompany you.
Our newest rescue is reactive to life. She barks at everything. We marveled at our luck in finding Little Creek Hideaway, which was perfect in every way for our dogs.
Finally , a word about Tina, the property manager. She was available both times we needed assistance. When I made suggestions of a few kitchen items that would have been nice to have, she responded immediately. If you need something or have any questions during your stay, don't hesitate to contact her.
