"The location of this property is excellent. The apartment is spacious and in a wonderful location in walking distance to everything in town. There are water views across the street, and that's lovely! Inside the floors are uneven and the layout is unusual. This was fine for us but wouldn't be if I was staying more than a night or two. For instance, the silverware is not in the same room as the kitchen. So preparing and serving a meal would not be as smooth as one might expect. The real issue...

"We rented this house for a family reunion recently. Place is great! Definitely an antique farmhouse and it has that level of charm. The property is beautiful and it fit our needs for a weekend stay. Communicating with the property manager was easy as well. That said we were not impressed with the level of cleanliness upon our arrival, as it was clear that the cleaning crew did not do a thorough job. I messaged the property manager our observations after our stay and they seemed very appreciative...

"This was a well placed home close to Mystic Harbor Museum and downtown. Very comfortable and nice open floor plan. While the description of two bathrooms is accurate it failed to state both were on the first floor with two of the three bedrooms on the second floor reached by extremely steep stairs. We were two couples in our 70s, good physical shape for our ages but found this arrangement very difficult."

"We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Our group included a 3 year old, so we were initially concerned about the potential for accidents with decorative pieces in low-lying areas, but breakables were out of reach for the most part. So, it was not a problem."

"A Lovely Well Kept Home Near So Much!This sweet 3-bedroom home was really in a good location and though definitely walkable to many things to do, including the Seaport Museum, Aquarium and Olde Mistick Village for shopping, note that it is located up a bit of a hill, which may be challenging for some to walk back up (down is pretty easy! )The host was an excellent communicator and very good to work with. This was a perfectly set up place for us (3 friends traveling together) and would also work...
