"The quaint, quiet house and yard were perfect for a peaceful long weekend with family. The house feels private despite being on the main road due to beautiful plants and landscaping. The yard was perfect for the family dog. There are ants, spiders, and a mouse but it's a country house. I was very pleased with the house and thought it was a good value based on what we paid. "

She thought of everything you might need and also gave us delicious snacks and water when we arrived. We enjoyed very comfortable beds and the check in and out process was so easy. We were able to get to Walmart and Big Y for some snacks and toiletries and to Mohegan Sun for dinner. It was stocked with the necessities and has plenty of space for everyone. We all had a great time. The host was very responsive to all my questions before and during our stay. We would stay there again."

"It may be titled "humble beginnings," but the host treats you like a VIP guest and goes the extra mile to make you feel special! The house is lovely and has everything you could ask for in a rental. I made a note in my original email that we were staying for my birthday weekend, and Elle left us the cutest basket with all sort of goodies to make my weekend special! Would highly recommend!"

"Our group spent a fantastic 4 nights here. Beautiful deck with a world-class view. Extensive amenities in the kitchen. The kayaks and fishing poles were appreciated. Very private - feels like the lake is there just for you. The deck can get a lot of sun but the overhang next to the guest house is convenient for anyone who gets overheated. Having an ice maker available with a large group was definitely appreciated. This place is fantastic and we're already planning our next trip down!"
