This home was perfect for our family of three…2 adults and 1 teenager. We were celebrating our son’s birthday and visiting Embry-Riddle Univ. The house was super comfortable, tastefully decorated and had any amenities we needed. It’s perfectly situated between Phoenix and Sedona. The landscaping is beautiful and we especially loved the back deck! Our favorite breakfast spot in Prescott was B Simple- portions were hearty and food was incredible! The hosts truly went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more thankful!

The location is conveniently close to downtown, but initially very hard to find, as GPS is incorrect. If you could provide detailed directions for future guests, that would be helpful! Very clean and everything we needed for our stay.

Location hard to find

The picture of the yard on VRBO was deceiving, not as large as it appeared in photo. We particularly wanted to stay here because we have dogs and wanted a large fenced yard. Hosts need to emphasize how many stairs are in the inside and outside of the home, not a good fit for older people. GPS will get a person close to property but ends up at an apartment building with a locked gate across. The property is on the other side of the locked gate and up a narrow steep driveway. It took us an hour to figure out how to actually get to the property. Other than that; the house was beautiful!

A peaceful retreat!

Fabulous place. Quiet and scenic yet close to downtown. Has everything you need and a great deck where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Super dog friendly with a great fenced yard. would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location to explore Prescott with a quiet atmosphere

Cabin feel minutes from down town. Feels twice as big as the square footage. Perfect family getaway. Quiet and clean. Hosts are very accommodating

Nice Location and Great for Dogs

We had a great stay at this house. It was clean, close to whiskey row, and had a nice backyard for my 2 large dogs to walk around. Uber/lyft to whiskey row area was about 5. The driveway is not only narrow but there also isn’t much room to park or turnaround at the top (which the host already mentions in their description). I parked a full size truck at the top next to the house but it just requires extra maneuvering to get up and down properly. I also liked that the house seemed more private since it was nestled in the boulders on a hill. I would stay at this house again next time I’m in the area!

Great stay in Prescott

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious, clean, and well stocked. It had lots of outside patio space. Very serene setting but close to downtown. The hosts were very responsive and . Would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin!

We are a family of four from Scottsdale, Arizona. We went up to Prescott to see the Fourth of July fireworks. The house is super cute. We loved the upstairs family room area. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The upstairs deck was amazing and my daughter saw her first shooting star 💥

Weekend @ Whiskey 50

This is our 12th year to Prescott for the Whiskey 50 Bike Race, this property offered everything and more for our short stay. Beautiful views and very clean! Couldn't ask for more.

Great stay!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property. We had a question shortly after check-in and the host was very responsive and solved the problem, going above and beyond to deliver on a request. We enjoyed being able to walk downtown and the neighborhood was quiet. Excellent stay!

Perfect Getaway!

We had some friends come into town from out of state and Phoenix temps were still WAY too hot! We stayed at Timber Terrace and felt tucked away but still super close to all the things! In beautiful weather it was an easy walk to Whiskey Row. The only thing I would caution little dog owners: The yard is fenced, but with uneven terrain there are a few areas they can slip under. The doggie door is also too high for them to get back in. This was actually a good thing for me! My little chased a lizard outside the fence but I was able to retrieve him quickly. If he could’ve had full access, I would’ve let him help himself to the outdoors and he might’ve gotten away. The property itself was beautiful and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Prescott House
