"This is an above and beyond home. Every detail is meticulous, not ostentatious but lovely, warm and inviting. "The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. "
