We really enjoyed our stay and everything was terrific. The layout of the space was perfect and was everything was the best it could be. The shower even had seven nozzles! The hosts were extremely attentive and answered very quickly to any questions we had. This place is fantastic! You should definitely stay here and we will be back for sure.

Bob’s guest house is great. It’s well appointed and had everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and the grounds are lovely. The bed is remarkably comfortable and the shower is amazing. It’s a lovely place. Highly recommend.

Lovely, well-maintained property with the bonus of hot tub close to the guest house, heated bathroom floor and multi-jet shower. Robes and towels provided for hot tub and pool. Immaculately clean. Well equipped kitchen with good sized refrigerator. Responsive host. Very friendly cats who will keep you company outside. Convenient location just a few minutes drive from village center. Considerations: guest house sits directly on main road; mattress is extra firm.

The Guest House is ideally located for a stay in the Carmel area. It is easy to find and near grocery stores for supplies. A must visit is the EarthBound Farm on the Carmel Valley Road. Excellent food and organic produce. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped albeit alittle dark inside due to the high windows. This is something to bare in mind if you visit in the winter.The garden is stunning but is patrolled by several cats. While the house is pet free the garden is certainly not, and if like me you are allergic to cats the garden is out of bounds as the cats sit on the table and chairs in the sunshine. Jae and Bob are friendly hosts and made us very welcome.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jae and Bob's home. They were very friendly and helpful. The home was very clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The location was very convenient to be able to go back and forth to Laguna Seca and there were many good restaurants in Carmel Valley. I highly recommend Jae and Bob's home and would love to stay there again if we go back to the area

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is spacious and peaceful. The guest house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It’s in a great location off of Carmel Vally road close to the village and wine tasting. We hope to come back!

Room was perfect for my wife and I. Property was beautiful. Carmel vally village was super close with plenty of eating and wine tasting options. Carmel and Montery are a short drive through a beautiful area. Would definitely stay here again

wonderful, relaxing environment for mother’s day

Beautiful property and lovely owners. what a treat this stay was. well stocked, delicious coffee, gorgeous groundskeeping. This truly felt like a Mother’s Day luxury. I would recommend this stay to anyone! You will not be disappointed, such a breath of fresh air this trip was!

Perfect getaway for a couple

Very clean, close to Monterey. Safeway is less than 10 min away. Bit of a winding road to get there but nothing scary. People have negative thoughts about the bathroom, but it’s seriously not as big of a deal that people made it out to be. If you’re in the bedroom and someone’s in the bathroom, you have to wait to get to the kitchen, living room. Not a concern. We absolutely loved it and the host, Jae was amazing and quick to communicate with. Perfect for 2 people

Peaceful and quiet setting

Carmel Valley is so beautiful and this was a delightful place to stay. The garden and hot tub are a nice touch. Having a small kitchen and good sized refrigerator is another plus. I would definitely come back for another stay.

We loved this property. The inside is spacious for 2 people and well appointed, with very comfortable beds, nice linens, heated marble floors in the bathroom and a decently equipped kitchen. The outside area includes a huge deck, a lovely garden with roses and lavender, a clean modern hot tub and view of the Santa Lucia mountains. Jae and Bob were friendly and helpful (allowing us to recharge our PHEV) but not at all intrusive. We hope to return another time.

Great location for Carmel Valley

The property is lovely. The apartment layout is a bit odd, though, as the bathroom is between the living room and the bedroom, so when someone is in the bathroom the second person is "trapped" in one of the other rooms.

Great Communication and Helpful Host

great property, amenities listed just as they are. loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Water for the tub in restroom was too slow to fill, but the hot tub made up for it. Great shower that, as my partner puts it, felt like a nice warm hugging blanket. Host were extremely gracious and handled several special requests to make our weekend even more memorable. super appreciative of their communication and efforts.

Lovely cozy cottage with modern amenities

Clean and contemporary cottage with well-outfitted kitchen and spacious spa bathroom and large bedroom. Mid-valley location requires car to get anywhere (except adjacent Bernardus Lodge - but you knew that already 😉). Delightful hosts who respect privacy. A good value!
