Habitaciones grandes y cómodas. Desayuno en terraza con hermosas vistas. Muy buen servicio, solo que deberían avisar que si se llega por Ferry se debe contratar para que suban las maletas ya que no hay forma de hacerlo por cuenta propia, ni taxi, un bus ni caminando.

Hotel en condiciones deplorables
Hotel viejo, en condiciones realmente deplorables. No se crean las fotos que publican porque no se parecen en absolutamente nada a la realidad. Había cosas de la habitación que no las han limpiado desde que inauguraron el hotel. La atención del personal horrible también.

No es un Hotel de 4 estrellas, muy viejo, habitación en mal estado. En el bar los camareros dan mal servicio, me tenía que levantar yo a buscarles. No lo recomiendo.

Horrible
Nuestro cuarto era muy feo, ni parecido a las fotos que muestran. Habia hormigas en el cuarto y cuando se lo comentamos a la recepcionista no nos dio respuesta alguna. El estacionamiento sale 20 euros, mujo mas caro que en otros lugares. El peor hotel al que fuimos en italia.

UBICACION Y HABITACION
UBICACION : Está un poco arriba, pero tiene el autobús justo en la puerta. HABITACION : Al principio nos dieron una habitación un poco oscura, y pedimos cambio, en cuanto hubo disponibilidad nos la dieron. El armario era un poco pequeño, en la segunda habitación. Las vistas, inmejorables.El desayuno , en la terraza ,fantástico. Vaya vistas !!! Todo muy agradable.

Buena atencion
La habitación que nos tocó era realmente fea , con ventana a un pasillo exterior por donde circulaba gente , pequeña y mal amueblada . Hablamos con la recepción y muy amablemente nos la cambiaron por una mejor sin cargo adicional ,El Hotel tiene un ala nueva y una antigua , bastante venida a menos . Como puntos favorables , hay piscina ( difícil de encontrar en hoteles en Positano ) y un buen desayuno buffet .

Un Hotel muy caro para lo que es
El Hotel es muy malo, descuidado las alfombras de los pasillos rotas, con humedades. Los cuartos muy malos y sin ningún tipo de lujo. El hotel está muy lejos del centro. Las únicas cosas a favor es el servicio del personal de la recepción y que tiene estacionamiento (muy importante en Positano)

Agradable , el Hotel es muy lindo , con excelentes vistas , el trato es cordial , muy bueno el desayunador con una terraza con toda la vista de Positano , lo malo para mí , demasiadas escaleras , pero Positano es así , Bello , pero matador ; la tarifa es acorde al lugar ; quedé muy cansado , pero satisfecho , se cumplió mi deseo de conocer Positano !!!!!

hay que estar en buen estado fisico!
el hotel es muy lindo y comodo para ir en familia lo unico que hay que caminar unos 5 minutos dentro del hotel para llegar a la habitacion , el primer dia parece un laberinto despues uno se acostumbra.El desayuno no es abundantepero tiene todo lo necesario Para bajar al pueblo hay que bajar unas escaleras x el medio de la montaña o esperar el colectivo que pasa cada media hora .imposible ir en auto.

El hotel esta mal ubicado, demasiado lejos del centro y no tiene buena vista al Mediterraneo. La calidad del servicio es bajísima y el servicio de desayuno es pésimo, con jugos artificiales, café de máquinas comerciales y una pésima atención del personal.

Caro pero con piscina...en Agosto fundamental!
Buen hotel, pero muy lejos de la playa y el centro. Un buen lugar si estas dispuesto a bajar y subir escaleras o tomar bus a cambio de una muy buena piscina, sobre todo en el agobiante verano amalfitano. Eso si, hay que estar dispuesto a usar gorra de baño.

Close to the bus stop från Sorrento, so perfect when you have heavy suitcases. Wonderful view from the balcony and nice tidy room. Got to the restaurang too late one evening and even than they got us something to eat, so really serviceminded personal.

I had so many doubts after reading all bad reviews that I almost cancelled the reservation. So glad I didn’t! The hotel had probably the most stunning views in whole Positano. It is up the hill so you must climb 1000 stairs to get there from the center of the town, however, Positano is all about stairs! I cant believe so many people gave a bad review just for the stairs. You can get a bus which is around the corner of the Hotel or work on your leg muscles and climb these stairs! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Can’t comment on food too much because we were having meals outside, just had breakfast, which was very good. The room was spacious, separate bedroom, living area, and of course THE VIEW! It could do with some renovating or at least changing the foldable bed covers as they were very worn out, but it didnt bother us. Its was a bit of old fashioned design and furniture, but oh well, everything was clean, bed was comfortable, shower worked great. I would definitely book the hotel again if I am coming back to Positano!

Hotel staff was very kind, especially the bartender. We would have liked the pool to be open as it wasn’t specified as closed when we booked it. Also be aware that there are a ton of stairs to get to the hotel. Unless you book a car, walking will be a pain, so either be okay with a taxi or be in decent shape. They also don’t provide beach towels nor want you to take the bathroom ones understandably. Would’ve liked to be able to have beach towels at the price. Overalll worked for us, but if you have the money may be worth it to stay somewhere closer.

This property was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and great. The location is very good, for its price. Positano is a city of steps. They have a short cut of 400 steps to town, which honestly is much better than the other route. I was so upset reading the comments after booking this hotel, please rest assure it is a good accommodation. It was clean. No bed bugs such as others have posted. It’s not a ritz Carlton, but for the price compared to the other hotels this is a nice choice of a hotel.

The staff was absolutely kind, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel conditions reveal their former glory days. So expect a dated property. Our room had a bit of a wet dirty humid sent when we arrived but had an incredible balcony view of Positano and that beautiful mediterranean ocean. That also meant we were really high up in the mountain side so be prepared to walk a lot up and down or get a taxi. Be prepared to add that to your budget for a taxi ($30 each way).

The staff are wonderful and helpful. The property is dated but it is clean. My main concern is that the price was too much for how ugly the hotel is in appearance. I know it can only get that price based on its locale. I just hope they revitalize the interior. Also the A/C barely works but I expect thats on par for Amalfi Coast.

Biggest pool we ever saw; well handled. -too many rules at the pool (only one entry/exit) can't sit on the edge, no food at our chairs, inconsistent music at the pool. It could stay open longer too. Loved the singer on the terrace and 24 hr staff. Breakfast was terrific! So many options.

So i have been waiting to write this review. Before we went we saw all the negative reviews here and was kinda nervous to arrive to a room full.of bed bugs and bad staff and mold smell. I have NO IDEA what those people were reviewing. Our room was very clean, yes fixtures are dated but thats Positano. The bed had no bed bugs or no bugs in the room in general. Pool was VERY nice me and my wife dipped in like 4 times. The only downside is the 400 stairs to get to the hotel. But they do offer a luggage trolley at the port to bring your bags there $10 /per. So nayone reading the negative reviews. We stayed in room 901 and it was greatm yes a little bit of a maze the 1st time you come in but once you know where to go very easy to get around. Would absolutely stay again

A little disappointed
To pay what we paid for 1 room was not worth what you got. You can stay at a Hilton for much less! I understand positano is inflated but the restaurant food was terrible breakfast was mediocre at best! The girl at the front desk was not hospitable! They gave us a room that was lower than we paid for! The one breakfast the staff was fighting probably because they are all over worked. The hotel is dated needs upgrades and improvements. Would not stay here again. Pictures don’t match to what is actual

The fairly young staff was absolutely amazing and tried their best to assist and accommodate. The hotel appears to be in need of some serious renovations and extremely understaffed. The same crew worked all the snack bars and dining rooms for all meal services and the pool snack bar. The hotel is extremely outdated. No coffee or kettles in rooms. Folding chairs in rooms for furniture. A derelict Tran is court over grown with moss and missing fencing which could result from a drop down a cliff. The elevator seemed like something out of a horror movie. The hotel has so much potential but a few million dollars in renovations are needed. There is no transportation at the hotel. The rooms also had a strong “damp” smell.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying in Positano. The hotel is overall old and outdated for the price. Our room had a beautiful view but was dirty. There was dust on our lampshades, ants in our room, and hair in our bathroom and floor that was not ours. Our room in general was outdated as well. The hotel is far out from the main town and you will have to take local transportation to save yourself from walking. When I told the front desk of my complaints on the room they did not do anything and said I should have complained earlier in my stay.
