"What a great hotel. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and really helpful sorting parking and making up a pullout bed. The major benefit of this hotel is the great communal area that has a pool table air hockey table tennis, and a kitchen and bar area where you can bring your own food and drinks Which was great for our 2 teenagers. The rooms were lovely, really clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again"

"Owners have done a beautiful work on renovating the place, chick style with lovely furniture in the lobby, dining area, corridors and the garden, loved it. "Beautiful, old building set in lovely gardens. There was a lot of open space and the accommodation was well spread out. It was nice to have a terrace to sit and enjoy a coffee. The Spa was very nice but I can imagine it gets very busy at certain times of the day. "

"It’s a lovely hotel and a very peaceful place to stay in a beautiful setting. The room was so nice with a beautiful view of the gardens from it, and the bed was very comfortable as well. We used the sauna and in door pool which was nice and relaxing. We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely hotel. It’s full of character and charm too :) We enjoyed our relaxing break away from home very much. "

"We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing."
