"The rugs were not safe….they easily slid across the wooden floors. Although the upper deck had a spectacular view , there was very limited view otherwise. The kitchen was poorly supplied. The few glasses , both wine and other, were discolored with a thick white film? I tried to call the manager twice when we could not find the appliance manual for the oven and he never returned call. "This home is beautifully designed and located conveniently in Funchal. The kitchen is well-stocked (especially enjoyed having an air fryer!) and I appreciated the bathrooms all had plenty of toilet paper and soap. Having a gym onsite was also a great addition. The service was impeccable, including the host meeting us on short notice late one evening after our rental car got locked into a parking garage overnight unexpectedly with the house keys in it. "The house was spotless and a good location to get on highway. It was near the airport and could hear planes landing and taking off but did not hear planes after 11 p m. The owner lives in lower level and was very nice but did not speak much English and I do not speak Portuguese so checking in was a little complicated. I liked the location it was not as busy as Funchal and overlooked the mountains. The island is spectacular and would definitely recommend a stay on this island. "

"Har hyrt många hus, detta var det bästa vi någonsin hyrt. Poolen var stor, varm och med fantastisk utsikt. Om jag var tvungen att klaga på något så skulle det väl vara att köksknivar var lite slöa.Helt fantastiskt!"

"Het is een prachtig, royaal en goed ontworpen huis met heerlijk goed onderhouden zwembad en jacuzzi. Wij waren met 8 volwassenen en een baby en hebben volop genoten van alle voorzieningen. De bedden waren goed, de waskeuken (laundry) perfect, het biljart goed, de badkamers goed.Er waren ook een paar minpunten. Zo waren alle vuilniscontainers helemaal vol toen we aankwamen. "Nous avons apprécié dans cette maison le grand espace mais la propriétaire ne nous a pas dit qu’elle louait d’autres parties de la maison à d’autres personnes. La vaisselle et les couverts sont insuffisants… 5 petites cuillères pour 7 personnes… Elle loue le garage à une entreprise qui nous réveille à 7h du matin et c’est horrible… La maison est très mal isolée et le bruit de la rue est insupportable. Enfin nous avons adoré Madère qui est une île magnifique 😍."
