I am not sure if my expectations were too high because I normally stay at all inclusive hotels. However, my experience was a 3 out of 5. First of all the rooms were not exactly clean, I had to wipe down the counters and had to call to get the shower curtains cleaned. The surface areas were not cleaned properly which left me to believe the place was probably not sanitized so I disinfected it myself. The towels that I received were not washed properly and my husband even refused to use them, stains were all over the towel. The plugs in the bathroom did not work which I called about from day 1 and upon departure still was not fixed. The house seemed to need a little fixing because things were broken. The bulb casing above the dining table was cracked, one dining chair was broken. Basic things were not left in the kitchen, such as soap to wash plates or a kitchen towel or even a paper towel. Garbage bags were not left in tyer kitchen area , the pan was just left bagless. The comforter left on the bed half holes which showed the stuffing bulging out. I have stayed at a guesthouse in the New Kingston area before and I can tell you that this was literally night and day. The property manager was very accessible I would give that a 5.
