The property had a perfect amount of room. Its location was good for access to the local area and, if needed, the commute to downtown Portland was fairly quick and easy.

Splendid Sellwood

Lovely stay in this ideal located property. It was clean and everything that was advertised. My family loved being in Sellwood and walking around the neighborhood with cute and delicious restaurants nearby. Also, the property was cool since we were there on some very hot days. Everything was where you would expect it to be if this was your own home….it was comfortable and private.The check in process was easy and thoughtful. Thank you, Lorie, for making our experience wonderful.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay here! The apartment was well appointed, everything was as shown and described. Lorie was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had questions. Loved the area! Very walkable, a fun natural area for the kids to play and several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

All around wonderful!

Perfect stay! Lorie was very communicative and has done a fabulous job of ensuring that guests are comfortable and have all they need. The apartment is charming with lots of nice touches. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces as well as the lovely, lively neighborhood. Highly recommend and would stay here again ! Thank you!

My favorite place in Portland!

Lorie's place is my absolute favorite place to stay in Portland! The apartment is very comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Love the Sellwood neighborhood and its great cafés, restaurants, antique and vintage shops, and the park -- all within walking distance. Favorite places to eat include Nama Ramen (amazing poke bowls!) and Zenbu Lounge (sushi). My family and I have stayed here multiple times and look forward to future visits!

Such a lovely place!

Really couldn't have been nicer. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, the living room is comfy, there's a nice place to sit outside, and Sellwood is a great neighborhood to explore. The owners are considerate and helpful. Stay here!

Quiet apartment in great location

Good location for our family of four to explore Portland and surrounding area.We spent our time visiting the surrounding area from the Columbia Gorge to Cannon Beach, but really enjoyed the stay and would spend more time around the Sellwood area.

Home away from home!

Another annual Portland adventure and we were lucky enough to stay in Lorie’s rental again. We love Sellwood and this rental is the perfect place to enjoy our favorite Portland neighborhood. Sellwood has all you need in walking distance. There’s always tons of close street parking. And the unit itself has everything you need and then some. It feels cozy and comfortable and you’ll love coming back to it after fun at the Oregon Zoo or Powell’s! We are already looking forward to going back again next year!!!

Portland adventures

Our trip was short but we were able to explore waterfalls and hiking and the adorable community around our VRBO. Great atmosphere and delicious coffee! A great place to relax and make memories with friends.

Cozy, comfortable stay in a great neighborhood

We loved our stay. Everything was very clean and comfy. Super easy check-in and very simple check out. Lori was very welcoming and accommodating when we need to add a person to our group and quick to respond when we asked a question. The booking was for an apartment in a house but we had our own entrance and it felt very private. Great neighborhood within walking distance to bakeries and restaurants and a quick drive to Downtown. Thanks for a great stay!

Better every time!

This was our 5th time at this rental. We love everything about it, from the fantastic owner communication to the location to the rental itself. There is nothing we’d change! This trip Lorie recommended a neighborhood roller skating rink and we loved it. The zoo, Powell’s, Grand Central Bakery and Cloud Cap Games are still family favorites as well. And getting a 13yr old girl and 15yr old boy to agree on vacation activities can be a challenge. But never on our Portland trips!! Looking forward to making it a 6th time next February.

We had a wonderful time. It was just a few blocks from family. Nicely appointed. Our only complaint was the tv had very poor reception, especially in the morning.

Absolutely perfect.

Great everything. Close proximity to lots of shops and restaurants, but also in a very quiet neighborhood. 10/10 will boom this place next time we're in the Portland area.
