"We rented this property as we were hiking in Kings Canyon and Sequoia NPs. 35 minutes to Sequoia gate. 1 hour to Kings Canyon via 63/180. Close to Walmart for groceries and personal needs. (one mile) Black Bear Diner is a must! Visalia is a very nice town. Regal is a very nice movie theatre close by. All neighbors were friendly. Host’s response was always prompt. Property was very clean and has washer and dryer if you want to pack light and wash. Kureig coffee maker and microwave. ...

"Deep in the woods at the top of the mountain be prepared to drive for 5 miles trough twists and turns. Arrive early because you may not find the lodge. Overall the view was great and stay was good but with ZERO cell service if your lost or need the wifi code Good Luck. Lastly it was 1.45 hrs from Sequoia park entrance. Stay Wild"

"The location was great but it went downhill from there. Not very clean, the bed was hard as well as the couch. The cheap blinds did not keep put the light so i ended up sleeping in tje next room on the couch soiyt was darker. Saturday morning was very noisy with trash trucks at 5 am. I paid a pretty penny to stay in a place that was just disappointing from the moment I secured the place with an invasive email from the management company wanting my ID front amd back and a picture of me... but...

"My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were...
