Everything you could need or think of was there. Even some toys for dogs and plenty of games for family night. Some firewood at the property and the allowace to use the fireplace inside and outside at the beach was an exceptional touch!

I have never had a host reach out so much and be so accommodating. Alicia was wonderful!!! The home is absolutely beautiful and so are the sunrises. You will not regret booking this gem! We didn't want to leave!!!

This was by far our very best experience renting a house. Not only was the spacious and welcoming home clean and comfortable, it also had gorgeous views of the Bay. Our host provided us with friendly and timely communications, and was considerate enough to let us check out a little later on our last day. She certainly went above and beyond to make sure our family getaway was enjoyable and that we had everything we needed. As for the location/neighborhood, it was absolutely enchanting. My kids and husband loved combing the beach for teeth and fossils-- and we found some pretty good ones! Also loved that we got to bring our dogs along. We plan to head back for another stay in the near future!

Well, what a great time we had at this house the house is exactly as advertised, tidy, clean, comfortable, everything close. The view was beautiful, our vacation was amazing. Alicia was very responsive to any question that we had. We definitely would rent again!

Simply lovely!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and really couldn’t ask for much more. It was clean and spacious, with all of the amenities you could need for a retreat on the bay. Easy beach access for fossil hunting. The clothes washer and dryer were on the first floor for easy access (not in a damp basement!). We would definitely stay again. Wish we could have stayed for longer this time.

Absolutely perfect

We booked this property to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday with our two kids and dog. It was perfect in every way, from the communications with Alicia to the location and lovely neighbors, direct access to the beach, space of the home and layout (The views! The deck!), the amenities, cleanliness, all of it! I even got to catch a sunrise when our dog woke up at 620am. We loved it so much we are now considering trying to get a summer home down here! Thanks for a great, memorable weekend.

Peaceful getaway by the sea

This place was a wonderful spot for our family to have a long weekend getaway. It's on a bluff right next to the ocean with a glorious view and a stairway access to the beach. The beds are comfortable, the house has lots of great spaces to relax or play games, and the beach is a wonderful space to explore, find seashells and possibly a fossil sharks tooth (we had no luck there, but we did find a whale vertebrae, so that's something!). But in any event, we highly recommend!

Location was perfect for what we needed (quiet, on the beach, great views). Family & pup will definitely be back! We wished we could have stayed longer. Owner communication was wonderful, we never needed anything but knew we could reach out if we did. Very comfortable experience throughout.

Perfect holiday getaway

This was a last minute decision to go on vacation at Christmas and the home ‘on the bay’ fit our needs when I instantly saw the pics on VRBO.It gave that homey and cozy feeling we were looking for and the description of the home was exactly as noted. The view was outstanding as well as the neighborhood around the area - close to everything but yet far enough away for that much needed peace and quiet. Communication with Alicia was exceptional. She made sure from the moment we signed up for the home until our vacation was complete to be sure we had a 5-star experience. We can’t wait to go back.

Weekend Away

A pleasurable weekend away! Nice private beach. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and the large windows facing the bay. Enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the pier. Close enough for a fun day trip into DC. Lovely restaurants in nearby Solomon Island. Would stay there again.

Bay vacation

The house was spacious and super clean. Lots of windows with beautiful views. Found lots of shark teeth. Loved the showers! Appreciate the owner having a pack n play, baby gate and baby chair. We had a 1 and 2 year old so had to move some of the breakable items out of reach. The stairs to the beach wore this grandma out though.
