"A sweet spot to getaway and rejuvenate. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, takeout was my “go-to” with one large meal for lunch and dinner. Everything was bright, clean and comfortable. Host was attentive and helpful. The private beach was perfect. "

"Easy smooth check-in. Cottage was clean, kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, including water! Linens, pillows towels all laid out for use! Wifi worked down to the water! AC worked great and all the fans were a nice touch! On a quiet road, lots of parking in driveway for 5 cars! Downtown Port Dover just a 5 minute drive. Would love to stay here again! Only thing missing was an outside dinning table! "

"My close friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. There were enough beds for our group and the facilities ensured we enjoyed home comforts while also living up to promises of quiet and solitude in nature. We had long chats by the fire by night and hiked in the surrounding Backus conservation area by day. We will definitely be back in the future! "

"We had an amazing time at this place! The space was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The location was ideal—close to long point bird observatory and the beach. We got bit stuck during check-in and the host was responsive to provide the info. We especially appreciated the coffee grinder in kitchen and local recommendations. "We stayed at Life’s a Beach Oct 3-5. The check in was easy and our host was extremely easy to communicate with very friendly. The condo is immaculate. Clean, great decor and kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. We would highly recommend staying here. The balcony is covered and has beautiful Muskoka chairs. The view is great and a great location to bird watch, go to the beach or wine tasting. We would give 6 stars if we could. "
