    Please make sure to pack your own linens and towels!
    Fresh mattress cover and two(2) pillows are provided with pillow covers
    Towels, bedsheets, blankets and pillowcases will NOT be provided.

    This cottage has its own wrap around (L Shape) patio! You have access to your own barbecue and fire pit! FIREWOOD IS NOT INCLUDED, many places near by sell firewood!


    Turkey Point offers a small grocery store, LCBO and MacDonald Marina.
    Port Dover is just a 15 minute drive away.

Worked well for what we wanted. Would suggest telling guests that there are lawn chairs & pillows included. Overall, will be back, people lovely & friendly!

Clean place, ample parking, restaurant next door, beach across road. Air conditioning, tv , fan all in working order. Deck outside the patio door was nice feature. New appliances and fresh paint also positive. Will stay there again if in area.

We were happy with our one night stay. The initial cost for stay before VRBO charges was very reasonable, however the VRBO EXTRA charges are excessive especially for a one night stay.Booking was easy, communication with owner was great. Cottage was clean and all we needed given we spent most of our time with family at another cottage. We appreciate cottage being pet friendly.

The location is amazing being that it's a short 1 minute walk to the beach. I wouldn't suggest anymore than 2 people during the hot summer nights as the cottage only has air in the bedroom. Limited amount of supplies in the kitchen if you plan on cooking. Things to bring along: salad bowl, kettle, serving platter, can opener. We enjoyed our stay and should we be in the area again we would look to book this cottage.

No heat. Had to use the oven to heat the home even after reaching out to the contacts. Fireplace didn't work and heater would trip the fuse - which we tried multiple times. The listing was a queen bed and it is a double. You cannot sit on the back deck because the eaves are pouring out water. Second bed is a futon. Turkey Point is great but the listing is not accurate.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage in Turkey Point. The inside has been beautifully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the location couldn't have been better. Everything was within easy walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the beach, shops, and the surrounding area without needing to drive. The exterior is a little more dated than the inside, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. The host was amazing—friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. As an added bonus, the restaurant next door serves excellent food, making it even more convenient to relax and enjoy the area. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to enjoy Turkey Point.

They advertise as “ Free Sea Doo Rental “! We booked 2 nights and they said we have to charge you 75 dollars an hour to cover the cost of the gas. I can drive my jet ski for 6 hours on a tank of gas which is 100 dollars. So they are deceptive and not honest in there business dealings The beds were as comfortable as sleeping on a box spring, the fireplace wasn’t working and they left us a micro furnace that popped the breaker after an hour of use. Never again. Not worth the money

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Pros - It was a really short walk to the beach. It seemed like a really new kitchen and recent bathroom update, nice flooring, even a new toaster and coffee maker. The host Richard was very responsive and nice. Very close to a busy restaurant, a good one though, so that might be considered both a pro and a con. Truth is I spent most of my time enjoying the beach, and it was lovely and quiet this time of year. Everyone we met, including the neighbours on both sides, were super nice. Cons-no screen on the patio doors and the deck was kind of rough. No fan in the bathroom and window won't open and no curtains on the entrance door or kitchen windows..felt a bit exposed. Also, the cleaning was certainly not impeccable, not gross, but not that thorough. As someone who has been doing commercial cleaning for a decade, I saw several opportunities for improvement. All of that being said, I would consider renting it again in the future.
