The room was very well equipped, esp. for cooking own meals. I slept on a rollaway though, which was terrible, mattress too thin. Other than that, a very good place to stay, convenient to central shopping/marina areas.

The perfect place to stay close to everything the accommodation maybe a little dated but it is always clean and well presented ..to us it’s like coming home.. Jakob the manager is absolutely brilliant always smiling and extremely helpful in anything you need to know or book , we have stayed there on our last 4 trips to Port Douglas just love it.. Thanks again Jakob for making another stay so good 👍

Beautiful swimming pool. Lovely and quiet accommodation, but still close to all amenities. Kitchen facilities were good. Good value accommodation. Jakob is a great host.

Convenient accommodation in Port Douglas

It’s amazing - location is good and excellent hospitality from Jacob! Jacob recommended us multiple tours and they were perfect. Most restaurants / shops are around the corner and you do not need a car at all!

Wasn’t really happy with the accommodation, I would have liked fresh towels daily instead of every other day. The fridge didn’t work very well in fact on our last day it actually stopped working altogether. Wasn’t happy with the pool area as there wasn’t enough chairs or area to sit. There was no one to help us up 2 flights of stairs with our luggage, overall it was a very dated resort & would not recommend any one to go there

The shower had not been cleaned. Someone else’s shampoo & soap was in there. I had to wash the saucepan I used before cooking. The sheets didn’t fit the bed. The air conditioning didn’t work properly. The owner disconnects the TV antenna at midnight so you can’t use the TV past then.

The apartment we had (20) was very dated, the cupboards were dirty and the toaster was full of crumbs, long time since it has been cleaned. Very dated furniture and bed was extreme hard. Great location which I felt is its saving grace. Nice manager but obviously he can’t refurbished the privately owned apartments.

Great location, friendly, clean & comfortable

One night stay, great location, walking distance to all bars and restaurants on Macrossan St. Block away from 4 Mile Beach. Short walk to shops, Marina and Sunday Markets. Older Property with lovely small pool, bbq area. Friendly greeting from reception, apartment was clean and comfortable, cooking facilities and parking on-site.

The apartment was in a good location. We stayed for 8 days (Apt. 16) We were given towels but no shampoo or soap. No worries. We bought some from coles. The apartment furniture was thick with dust around the wicker frame but the cushions were clean. The vent in the bathroom was thick with dust, but still worked ok. The inside of the rubbish bin was filthy, house cleaning did empty the bag mid week. These things did not hinder our stay. We left early before reception opened and got home when it was closed.The day before we left, we got soap/sham. I was able to speak to the manager the day before we left. I told him all of the above and also explained I was not going to write a review because we were to busy to do anything about it but thought he should know for the next guests. The manager, Jakob threw his pen across the room and became very abusive, accusing me of kicking him in the head and ruining his whole day. Screaming the building is old and the owners won't spend the needed money. I explained again I was not going to say anything because we should have spoken earlier. I agreed, people who have a problem should speak up at the time. When he started yelling and abusing again, I said stuff you. So here is my review

Its close to the Main street in Port Douglas, but fairly basic accommodation which could be doing with an upgrade. Worst of all was the wifi allowance of only 100MB per day, not good if you want to keep in touch. I sent 3 photos via messenger and that used up my allowance for the whole day !! They need to realise most people expect to get a decent amount of wifi these days.

L'hôtel a un rapport qualité prix correct mais j'y suis restée une semaine et pas une fois le ménage n'a été fait. Il y a juste de nouvelles serviettes qui sont déposées tous les 3 jours et c'est aux clients de sortir leurs poubelles. Les appartements sont équipés de kitchenette mais le propriétaire nous a fait comprendre qu'il ne fallait pas trop cuisiner... L'hôtel est bien situé et la piscine est agréable même si elle est petite. Il y a un espace barbecue à côté de la piscine très pratique.

Great spot, close to the Main Street. Room was quiet and a good size. Pool was great. Really good value for money. The manager was so helpful, let us check in early and check out late.

Make your own airport shuttle arrangements

So, my only complaint is that it says on the listing “24 hour airport shuttle service is available. Contact property in advance to make arrangement.” Then in fine print at the bottom it says “36AUD per person (one-way)”. I contacted the manager a few weeks before the arrival and he told me it was no problem. Well, what they don’t tell you is that it’s some third party company; they used Sun Palm and Exemplar. Therefore, we were on their timetable. We had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for a shuttle upon arrival, and had to leave at 3AM in order to make out 6:30AM flight. Not only that, but Palm Villas charged me way more than 36AUD per person and it would have been much cheaper to arrange the airport shutter myself.
