It was a nice place, the kitchen is raised up so it was difficult to cook. The kitchen sink was very small and I don't use the dishwasher for just the 2 of us. So, this picture is not the kitchen you get. very close to the beach! Pool is warm and very small. More a spa, but nice for 2 people.

The location was great and check in and check out was easy. My only complaint is that the pictures of this listing interior are not what it looked like. The bathroom was different, the bedrooms were different, and the kitchen was much smaller with a mini kitchen sink, small microwave and a small fridge/freezer. Not sure if the listing pictures were taken before the hurricane or if they listed images from one of the other rooms? Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay very much

This place was amazing! We loved everything about it! Went to the beach everyday , which was just a very short walk, very convenient, the place was clean and accommodating, with beach chairs , a cooler and beach towels! We loved the swim spa as well! We will definitely be back!

This was such a cute Villa. It was just like home. It had everything I needed to make a meal. The Villa was very clean and even provided some popcorn, oatmeal, coffee, tea and condiments enough for afew days. The communication between us and property owner /manager was "spot on". It was just a short walk to the beach. I would differently stay there again.

Great Location!!!

Wonderful little place RIGHT by the beach. It was literally directly across the street, and the beach was never crowded. The kayaks were an awesome amenity. The bay is only a few hundred yards away and you can launch right from there. The unit was very clean and well equipped for a short stay. There were umbrellas, beach chairs, a small cooler, and beach towels provided, so we didn't have to worry about packing anything like that. The pool was also a really nice extra bonus! I will say the lock on the door was very finicky, but we got the hang of it eventually. The pictures of the unit aren't very accurate (they may be from another unit in the complex), because the Villa Margarita didn't have a full size fridge (just a small dorm room-esque fridge freezer combo with plenty of room for 5 days worth of groceries for two people) and the kitchen is totally different, as is the bathroom, and primary bed. That being said, the unit was still lovely and sufficient, just not as exactly pictured. I would definitely recommend this place to others, and would absolutely stay again!

Great find!

We stayed 5 nights and had a great vacation. Although the island is still recovering from the hurricanes our unit was perfect. All new appliances and furnishings, A/C unit in every room and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Location is perfect, easy walk across the street to the beach and great access to the bay for our daily kayak trip to see the dolphins (3rd canal to the right had 3-6 every day we were there). All you need for the beach is provided, chairs, umbrellas, toys and even a cooler. A nice table outside the unit for evening cocktails or morning coffee. The pool is noce for a quick dip to cool off and the onsite laundry is all brand new and had 3 sets of w/d. Communication from our host was quick and she even provided some tips on things to do (farmers market on Thursday was the best). We really liked the area, everything is back open and the locals were all super friendly.

Perfect location!

We loved this property/location. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to Helene. The owner was very concerned about this and offered to refund us the day we missed. I would definitely stay here again.

I rented this place on a whim due to some issues at another place and it was perfect. Small and cozy. Water pressure for shower is terrible but the comfy beds make up for it.

Great amenities and super close to the beach!

Cozy cottage, exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay very much! Perfect for a family with a couple kids or 2 couples. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved the screened in front porch, great for letting our suits and dive gear dry out. The pool area was very nice and there were a bunch of kayaks avaliable for use. We had a couple very minor issues (wifi and slow drain) and Elena was VERY quick to respond and super friendly and helpful! She made it clear that if we had any other issues to please text her and she would be happy to come right back and fix them. She wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. Great location, one block from a beautiful beach. Lots of really good restaurants close by, great suggestions and helpful info in the welcome binder. Very reasonably priced for the location and amenities! We're already talking about a return trip!

Wonderful weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Margarita Sparkles!! Everything was exactly as described and we couldn’t have been happier. The welcome tray was so nice, and everything was so thoughtfully laid out and thoroughly explained. We hope to make it a tradition, so see you next year! 😊
