Wonderful lake house!

Great property! As advertised there is no WiFi, which did make it hard to communicate via the VRBO app with the owners. Direct text messages do go through, but sending and receiving messages via the VRBO app is hard. But overall a great place to stay!

The views were beautiful and the home was comfortable. We made dinners together looking out to the lake and all being together. My 90 year old mother loved the recliner looking at the lake after a long day. Close to Hurricane Ridge, Cresent Lake and Sol Duck falls. Thank you!!

Nice home, but anxious stay

The property was beautiful and the lake was serene. The house itself is exactly as pictured. You can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space, which is reflected in the very thorough instructions provided. There are quite a few guidelines to follow, so I'd recommend reading everything carefully, if not multiple times before booking. Guests should be prepared to devote a good chunk of their morning to the check out procedures. In addition to stripping the beds, starting the laundry, doing the dishes, and taking out all the trash, you are also assessed a cleaning fee. Be very, very sure of exactly how many people will be at the property at any given time. On top of the mandatory extra damage insurance, there were numerous mentions of paying for inspection and reset should the septic alarm go off. Since we had the maximum number of people staying at the property, I was constantly worrying about the septic alarm and the numerous signs throughout the house did not let me forget. We had friends who came over to use the boat that we brought to the lake, and I made sure they didn't use the facilities. We were charged an additional 250 for this even though they noted no damage or septic issues. Overall, the house was nice and the location was great, but I was too anxious to fully enjoy myself.

Beautiful Place!!!

Everything was perfect! The house had gorgeous views and plenty of space for our family of 4. All the amenities you could need. We especially loved watching the eagles around the lake and the fog in the morning was gorgeous! Thanks Again!!need.

Property is way better than shown on pictures

Wonderful in all aspects property and nature. I would suggest to arrive before sun set otherwise it might be a bit tricky to find property as it was for us.A bit stricter rules but reasonable property manager and super responsive. We'll be back again for sure. Thanks!

Beautiful Getaway

My family and I stayed at this house for a few days while visiting my brother. We all loved the house and all of the features available. The view was obviously stunning. The kitchen was well appointed and did include some basic spices. Everything was clean and tidy. Having a crib was great for my young niece. We have Verizon as a phone carrier and had 1-2 bars of service during our stay. You couldn’t watch videos very well, but it was enough to do some scrolling and check the weather. We were trying to enjoy each other’s company so it was to very important to us. The proximity to so many things including many places in Olympic National Park was one of the main reasons I chose this house and it worked great for logistics. I would definitely stay again and my mom was so sad we had to leave. She has told everyone about how wonderful the house was.

Lovely Thanksgiving getaway

Eagle Watch

We had such a comfortable stay in your beautiful home! The breathtaking views allowed us to watch the eagles soaring! Excellent sleeping in the beds, and a particular jigsaw puzzle made our stay.

Beautiful stay on Lake Sutherland

Mark and Natalie's home is a wonderful escape and great location for exploring Olympic NP. A treat to wake up with beautiful Lake Sutherland and return each day to the same! We loved when the beaver swam by in the morning, and the sunsets are a must see. The house is very well appointed and very easy to just be happy to be there. Thanks so much!

Beautiful

Beautiful home, with private beautiful views on a magnificent lake. Easy to cook and sit on the patio or big living area and enjoy the views and eat and relax. The stairs are a hike to the lake. We were confused until the last day and did not realize we could park by the house and not the upper area outside of the gate. My wife did not read the instructions to completion on unlocking the gate.

Beautiful property, large enough for our family to spread out, and excellent location for exploring Olympic. Just worth noting - we have Verizon, and our coverage was very spotty. Handled most of our communication when we were away from the property and in range.

Beautiful Lake House

The house was beautiful and the perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring. The view of the lake from the living room makes it the perfect place to sit and take in the beautiful surroundings. Our kids loved jumping in the lake and the dock was large enough to accommodate adults who just wanted to watch. We appreciated the kids-sized life jackets provided by the host. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area, but would plan more time to just enjoy the house, lake, and the view!

Amazing Views, Amazing Stay

My family loved our stay at this lake house while exploring Olympic NP. Views from the dock and windows are amazing. The pictures don’t do the house justice. It was a wonderfully private setting, and the lake was incredible. We appreciated having life jackets in sizes for the kids too. Thank you for a wonderful stay, would highly recommend!

Perfect relaxing outdoor vacation

Although the weather turned on us for our July stay, our time was perfect, even with cold and wet weather for the majority of the stay. There was no shortage of dock use and hiking on all nearby trails. We did a quick 24-hour stay in Victoria, BC, which was super easy from Port Angeles doc. A tip—there is a family or business on the rental's lake from which you can rent all sorts of water equipment, which they will deliver right to the dock! We didn't have time to utilize this, but look out for them if you want to rent jet skis, paddle boarding, and more. There was shampoo and body wash offered now - I know others noted that they did not have that during their stay. We had no issues with the septic tank system, even with an almost full house. Would love to come back!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay here! The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The location was everything we were looking for - very peaceful and the lake is gorgeous! We look forward to coming back again one day!

Beautiful views and comfortable stay

Lake Sutherland is beautiful and a very peaceful place. The cabin was very clean and the new steps and dock were very nice. Owners were great to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.
