Kirk's Bluff delivered on its promise of great views and a private, tranquil setting. The beautiful deck and water views were a definite highlight, perfect for enjoying sunsets and watching boats pass by. The house boasts a well-appointed kitchen, complete with essentials like olive oil, salt, pepper, and sharp knives.A few things to be aware of: The downstairs bedrooms are small, making it challenging to unpack or find space for luggage. The shower floor tile in the upstairs primary en-suite bathroom is quite slippery, so caution is advised. You should expect some noise from fog horns as boats pass by. The house did make some creaking noises, even when we weren’t moving around. We encountered a couple of electrical issues during our stay. Upon arrival, the outlets in the downstairs bedrooms weren't working, requiring us to flip a fuse in the breaker box to resolve it. More inconveniently, the electrical outlet in the carport was non-functional, which prevented us from charging our EV car overnight as planned. Despite these points, our overall stay was positive, offering a comfortable escape with impressive scenery.
