Beach getaway

Perfect place for a beach family vacation Plenty of room to allow for everyone to have there own space but also has space for gatherings for lunch and dinner. Enjoyed returning to the area to visit friends and celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday.

Family vacation

The house was very nice and clean and in a very nice neighborhood. There was a good view of the ocean from the deck. The beach was quiet and private. My only concern was we did not see any smoke detectors.

My family of 4 and my friend’s family of 4 had such an amazing 8 days at this wonderful house! The location is breathtaking! The house is roomy and met all of our needs! We definitely want to return!

Lovely

This rental has a wonderful feel and the ocean views are endless. Lots of birds, a few fishing boats, and only a handful of of walkers each day. Perfect spot!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was perfect for our family! The children really enjoyed having their own space downstairs. We came right after a hurricane and Portoro Beach Rentals were very accommodating and were able to get us in the property. This beach rental has everything you need! We would definitely stay here again.

Beach Sunrise

This is my first beach front VERBO. Well I can tell you, it won’t be my last. This place lived up to my expectations. Very well appointed with all your comforts to a well stocked kitchen. The open layout allows you to see the ocean while you are cooking in the kitchen. Having your own boardwalk from the deck to the beach…..can’t beat it. Love the location as it is easy to get down to St. Augustine and not to bad getting up to the Jacksonville Airport. Now one warning is to be very careful pulling in or out of the driveway. Cars move fast coming by the property. I will be back.

Quick family get away!

The house was perfect for our family with 5 teenagers and 2 parents. The house was clean and just as listed. The kids bedrooms were great and allowed for them to hang out and enjoy time with us upstairs. Access to the beach was amazing. The living area was very comfortable and we had a great time. We’d rent the property again.

Great spot for a girl’s weekend

This property was perfect and private for our family get away

We will definitely rent here again! It was so beautiful and the access to the beach couldn’t get any better. We loved how private it felt. We loved all the rooms and decor. The only thing I would recommend are some curtains on the door/windows over looking the beach in the living room. It gets very bright in the mornings when sitting on the couch. Overall, great stay. We have already recommended the property to some friends, and they will be coming next June!

Great location for a private beach getaway!

We were so impressed with the privacy of this rental. We had the beach to ourselves the entire week. The house was perfect for our little family of 8 with adequate beds and living areas. The hosts were prompt with answers to questions and check in/out was seamless.

Great stay!

My daughters family stayed at this property during our stay for a wedding in st. Augustine. They really enjoyed the house and location at the beach. Very favorable for the children and access to the beach. Beautiful sunrises! House was clean and well stocked with essential items. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. Hope to visit in the future if we are in the area again.

Sunrise & Sunset

We enjoyed our stay at this house for guys golf weekend. While mother nature didn't cooperate and we were forced to stay indoors, the house provided ample room and space for us to hang out and watch the storm as well as cook nice meals and enjoy the company and conversation. David was very responsive to any and all questions and even assisted us with getting Jags tickets when the sun came out ! Jeff

Great Location & Styling

Sunrise & Sunset offers both. Sunrise while on the beach and Sunset while on the side screen porch! Lovely original home with current styling surrounded by larger rebuilds. Updated kitchen with comfortable FR. Although we're used to larger TV it was fine for our college football-obsessed crew. Other than the view, didn't take advantage of beach though it couldn't be more convenient. But we did indulge in the wonderful sound of the breaking waves! Bedrooms all that we needed (3 couples + 4 twentysomethings) and the bunk room on ground floor very well conceived & cozy, especially for pre-adults (ours are drinking age but, you know, not acting like adults yet). Throughout, you definitely realize it's still a 70s original with some uneven stairs, poor water pressure upstairs, funky shell covered walls but (other than the poor water pressure) that's part of its real charm. The communication with Daphne & David was perfect and we would definitely stay there again in an instant!

TPC Member Guest Event house

Overall the house is in a great location in the middle between TPC Sawgrass and St. Augustine. The areas of the home that were recently updated are really nice and if the bathrooms get an update the house will be all the better.. A few minor things for the owner to look into... upstairs shower does not get hot - luke warm at best. The fridge needs a new water filter - could not get water as a result from fridge. The microwave needs a filter. Lastly the air filter and also the one ledge under window in stairway have a bunch of dust - I would clean to make the environment healthier. Aside from the minor issues we had a great time.

Christmas vacation at the beach

Behavior analyst company retreat and conference at Marriott

We had a wonderful time relaxing between attending a conference at the Marriott which was nearby. Two of the five ladies have recently joined my company so it was a good environment to relax and get to know each other!
