We had a great time in this cozy home. It was a bit of a drive to any nearby restaurants or things to do but the privacy was worth it. The house smelled amazing from all the natural wood floors and walls. The sitting room was great for nights in, playing board games or cards by the fire. Very quiet neighborhood. It was about a 15-30 minute drive to any local attractions but we loved everything we did there including meeting the cows at Billings Farm/Museum, learning about raptors at VINs, and cheese and syrup tastings (as well as hot sauces, jams, spreads, etc) at Sugarbush Farm. The kitchen was well stocked at the house; there were enough pots, pans, and utensils to cook at home although spread out awkwardly (though it's never as easy to cook in a strange kitchen anyway). My only very minimal complaints about the house would be that we all felt the pillows were very hard, the trashbags in the kitchen were too small for the bin so every time you tossed something in the bag would collapse into itself, and the wood outside in the stack wasn't cut into small enough pieces so it was not as easy to keep the fire inside going. Overall, we would stay again if we come back to the area.
