"The setting is perfect. The host “Marc” is very nice, happens to be near the property came by to say hello. A very fine gesture for him to display. Our stay was totally relaxing and everyone had a very nice time and the home is perfect. We would like to visit in the fall when the trees have changed, weather is cooler to use the outdoor fireplace. "

"Had the best time with all my friends at this house! We love how every room was different and loved the game room! We were in the poker room every night and on the dock every day! The check in and check out was super easy to make out stay that much better. The owners are very kind and generous. The house was super clean the beds were very comfortable! "

"My husband and I enjoyed the dock, played music, had nice furniture to sunbathe and relax, also great for looking at stars, we used the kayaks and floats, easy water access for swimming and using water toys. There home is very cozy, easy to relax. Close to the Downtown area for dining and shopping. We will bereturning next summer"

"Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again."

"Great house and location. We loved our stay. The cove is the perfect place to float on a hot summer day. Be sure to bring your floats. We rented a boat for the week and had no trouble docking it at the pier. The house is well stocked. Check in was a breeze. Hot tub was a treat. The neighbors are super nice and the owners were great communicators. Would definitely recommend the house! "

"We had a family gathering at this wonderful lake house, and it was exactly what we were looking for! This large, beautiful house is located on a quiet cove of Lake Gaston, with easy access into the water for boating and floating. We appreciated being off the main channels of the lake on the holiday weekend, and we loved seeing all of the wildlife and birds in the area. The house had plenty of space for our multigenerational family, both in terms of bedrooms and in terms of space to spread out....

"What a great setting for a multigenerational family gathering! The home was clean and exceedingly well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. The dock sits on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and has cleats to tie a rented boat for longer journeys out to the main lake. Game room and lower level rec room provided variety for evening intertainment. Highly recommend!"
