"Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. Everything was very clean, fully equipped, Inc. shampoo and conditioner, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, etc. John has been a great host, he invited us to Saint John,s party, with his family and friends and It was very nice. "Sehr schöne 16 Tage. Super tolles Haus, in dem man sich sofort wohl und Zuhause fühlt. Das wirklich einzige was uns gefehlt hat war ein größeres Topf um Nudeln zu kochen sowie auch eine Salatschüssel und Sieb. Beim Frühstück an der Küchentheke kann man den Eseln und Schafe zuschauen. "What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. "What a magical space, as soon as we entered the property all the stress and worries just dissapeared, the views are jaw dropping . "We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. To address some items mentioned in others reviews: When we got there there was a musty smell, as others have mentioned, but it did get better over our time there. "Sandy heels was the perfect place for my short break. Very well equipped with a nice comfy bed and cosy lounge. Perfect location, close to pubs and restaurants (I especially recommend the Shamrock bar). Easy to get to lots of beautiful locations. It was the perfect base to explore Connemara from.
