"The cabin was perfect for a Christmas celebration. Charming and cozy for 6 adults and a couple of dogs this was a perfect spot to sip coffee on the front porch overlooking the horses in the meadow, and wind down by the bonfire in the back. Since it was a warm season, we took multiple hikes through the Pisgah forest to see several waterfalls and sit outside playing games. The kitchen had enough utensils to cook every night. You feel like you are miles away from town yet only 5 mins to the store....

The owners were gracious hosts and offered farm fresh eggs for our stay. The outside fire pit and grill area had lots of seating and a picnic table. "The canvas cabin was basically brand new as were all the furnishings. Same for the entire facility. Everything was clean and new. It was a nice glamping place. I was worried about heat, since it was about 50 degrees. The space heater worked like a champ. I stayed there to bicycle the Hincapie Gran Fondo about 3 miles away at Hotel Domestique. It was a quick and easy commute. The camp store and bathroom facilIty was also basically brand new and very nice. "

"This is our second time at Ma & Pa's because we love it so much. It feels straight out of a fairytale.
