"We really enjoyed our stay. The check in with Isobel was very smooth and easy. The cottage is actually bigger than the front view suggests, as it has been extended at the rear. " 6 of us visiting for our friends 60th at the Glenburn hotel. Can't fault anything, thanks for providing the good weather😊 10 minute walk from ferry and town, got car parked fine. People with mobility issues may struggle to walk from road up to the apartment as it's a bit high. But honestly it's worth it if you can. "

"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. "Ein angenehmes kleines Appartement. Wir haben zwei Monate dort verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Leider hatten wir zwischendurch ein Problem mit Mäusen, woraufhin Mark aber direkt gekommen ist und sich um das Problem gekümmert hat. Auch die anfangs tropfende Toilette wurde umgehend ersetzt. Sonstig war die Wohnung zu Beginn aber sehr sauber. Es ist nicht weit zum örtlichen Supermarkt, der Park gegenüber eine Art Garten ;)Wir haben eine Gruppe kennengelernt, die sich täglich zwischen 12-14 uhr...

"We loved our stay at the Wee Silverburn! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Decorated so nicely, very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking wares and cleaning supplies. The babbling brook just beyond the lush garden plantings completed the lovely setting. The location is wonderful, an easy walk down the beach and other offerings at Whiting Bay. The bus stop is right there too if you want to pop to a pub or two in Lamlash for dinner and drinks....
