Fabulous accommodation, well equipped, clean, comfortable, we loved it. Very quiet but very walkable to bars/restaurants and the local shop. Location perfect for exploring Arran - we had a brilliant stay and we would definitely stay in this cottage again - so peaceful and perfect for us old timers.

Het is een klein huis, op een mooie plek op het eiland. Erg fijn dat er een extra kamer bij zit waar je je spullen kan neerzetten. De Wifi is prima.

Great little bungalow close to amenities and the beach in Lamlash.Perfect for 2. Great hosts.Loved the resident cat Lola and the semi-tame heron Henry. Kept us company in the garden.Managed to get some great close up shots of Henry too.

Such a beautiful little cottage. Although it's behind a house in their back garden you have your privacy. We were so happy there in among nature. I highly recommend this cottage it's like a wee sanctuary. Met the owner for the key and she was lovely. Great price, I'm definitely going back.

Great little place

This was perfect for me on my own - great location, clean and convenient little home from home, beautiful garden, friendly hosts around if anything was needed. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Arran.

Isobel is very welcoming, friendly and attentive, the cottage is amazing, its warm and cosy, has everything you could ever need, and its right in the middle of all amenities too. Weve stayed a few times now and will 100% be back in the very near future.

A nice little cottage great location

Good sized cottage for a couple to stay in and for self catering. The hosts were great. Nice location within walking distance to the pubs and port in lamlash

Lovely 3 night stay on Arran

The cottage provided a very good base for us to travel around Arran and see most of the sights. It was also convenient to be able to walk into Lamlash on an evening.

Wonderful location

A small property in a very quiet location. Easy access with a car. Comfortable bed. Perfect for one but a but tight to move around in some areas for someone with slightly limited mobility.

Great wee house

This house is in a great location in Lamlash just a few minutes to the Main Street and the beach. The house had everything you could possibly need for your stay and while it is advertised as a 1 bedroom there is actually 2 bedrooms so plenty of storage. It was very clean and bright and the owners were lovely. Plenty of outside space with a great garden. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :-)

The property is excellent and very clean. It is roomier than it appears from the pictures. The bed is very comfortable and warm, just right for a good night's sleep after exploring Arran. The cottage is extremely well equipped and ideally located for the small village of Lamlash, a few minutes walk to a Coop supermarket, restaurants, hotels and cafes. It is a perfect base to explore Arran. Isobel is a welcoming and helpful host.We stayed in the cottage in June and came back again, which tells you something.

We really enjoyed our stay. The check in with Isobel was very smooth and easy. The cottage is actually bigger than the front view suggests, as it has been extended at the rear. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage is well equipped and very clean and just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and facilities in Lamlash. There is plenty of parking and the garden gives space to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We found this the ideal base to explore the beauty of Arran. We thought that this provided excellent value for money.

This place is a little gem! It's small and rustic but immaculate and Isobel has thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable. There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) The cottage sits at the back of the owners property, but they were very discreet and I did not see them all week (although I knew they were there if I needed anything!). The kitchen has every utensil you can think of which is perfect for a self catering option. There is also a washing machine if you need it, and a lovely garden area for drying (if you get the weather!) The bed was comfortable and there is a separate dressing area with hair dryer - iron - etc. Honestly, a wonderful little place and I will 100% be back - highly recommended! Thank you Isobel for being a great host.

Honestly, for the price, this place probably can't be beat. Our host was kind and generous. The cottage is small, but cozy. We loved the realistic looking fire glow in the lounge, and loved having the second bedroom that is converted to a dressing room- a great place to keep your cases and such out of the way and organized! The garden is very nice, with a bench you can easily move to follow the sun or shade, and has an obstructed but still lovely view to Holy Isle. Lamlash is a short and beautiful walk away, with fantastic views over the bay and to Holy Isle. Our favorite shoreline view on the whole Island! There we found two fantastic beer gardens and restaurants; The Drift Inn and Glenisle Hotel. The main sticking point for us was that the cottage is within the host's back garden, which for some will be fine. But we never feel quite comfortable in that situation; we didn’t quite feel like we had the privacy we would have preferred. So, if you are like us, take note.
