Absolutely great stay! Very welcoming and attentive team. The room was great, comfortable. Best water pressure we’ve ever had. Breakfast was great, the restaurants were great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thanks Caroline!

Wonderful old building right on the harbour, huge comfortable bed, powerful shower. Staff were fantastic and the breakfast was excellent. Nice pub downstairs too.

Everything was lovely! Room, staff, and breakfast. We arrived late due to a flat tire (watch out for those Scotland back roads 😉) and the staff was superb in welcoming us tired American travelers. Just a few notes if you're a first time world traveler from the US, they didn't offer wash cloths and there were no "flat sheets", only fitted with the duvet. My fault not theirs for realized this is standard in Europe. Hope this helps someone!

The property was clean,, quaint, and charming. The restaurant was delicious! I had dinner and breakfast the next morning. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had or should I say that I’ve had in Scotland so far. The staff was amazing! Carolyn went above, beyond and out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of, and I greatly appreciate it. The Royal Hotel is lucky to have her.

Wonderful small authentic hotel, with a great view on the harbour. Full Scottish breakfast was excellent. Everything (read Springbank 😅) within walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The front desk staff as well as he staff at the attached Black Sheep Pub and the Harbourview Grill were lovely. We had a large room with a view of the marina. Breakfast wa included in the morning and went above a beyond the typical complimentary hotel breakfast. I am hoping to return to Campbeltown and will book the Roal Hotel again.

The staff - each and every one of them. From the night check in staff to the lovely hostess at our breakfast to the dear gentleman serving us drinks n dinner at the bar, each one was so friendly and gave us great service. I am extremely happy I chose to come here. The rooms were of course huge and clean and luxurious but I absolutely loved the staff!

Nothing wrong with the actual hotel, with a very good breakfast included. Breakfast staff were very good. The main issue was the location due to a couple of idiots driving their souped-up cars round the town centre until 2am. Also, room 14 is above the front door which is noisy until about midnight, and starts again at 6am. Avoid this room, if possible.
