We enjoyed our stay at Laurel Crest with the exception of the walls were so thin we could hear the guy in the next room snoring. Our host was very easy to work with and very accommodating with our needs. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of room.

Enjoyable Stay

We really enjoyed out stay. The place was newly renovated, and all the furniture, bedding and appliances looked brand new. Our two kids loved the pool and game room, we enjoyed the hot tub! The only complaint we had is that we are used to staying in places that have basics like salt-n-pepper, sugar, maybe ketchup and other condiments and this place had none. It was more like a hotel room than an owner rental. Otherwise it was nice.

Nice Room The Hook is the Parking Pass

We check in as a guest of another owner around 7 pm. . Would not give us a parking pass and was told we were good for our first night but would have to come back the next morning to get our parking pass, That was the HOOK. When I went to get parking pass I had to talk to someone with a parrot on her shoulder whom wanted to schedule us for a tour of membership into the timeshare scam. She was really nice and fully understood I was not interested in being hooked into a place to stay plus annual regieme fees, Thanks for no pressure! I wasted 6 hours at a BlueGreen presentation in Vegas a few years ago, Our stay was super after that. All I expect is honesty? We had a great time! The condo was very nice except for all of the construction. Which is actually good! Thanks for a great stay! A heads up??? If you book this resort, let the person at the desk know that I want my parking pass now and you want have to waste 10 min the next day?

Laurel Crest November 2022

Upon arriving, property was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and our room was clean and well equipped. We also felt very safe at this property. I will recommend Laurel Crest to my friends and family.

Unit needs thoroughly cleaned, carpet dirty, furniture scratched and nicked, ceiling in bathroom needs repaired and painted. Stove top was scratched up but that is expected for glass top range. Kitchen and bedroom nice. It was okay for what we paid.

Not Great, but not bad

Pros: Location Cleanliness Friendly front desk staff Friendly maintenance Nice amenities Cons: Worst customer service with any VRBO by far was with Christian Properties. WiFi did not work Unit not completely as pictured I liked the unit itself but will never book through Christian Properties ever again and will warn all my friends not to do the same.

Relaxing stay

Our unit was very comfortable and clean. Being in building one was perfect. Close to the pools, workout room and recreational room. Plenty of parking. Would stay there again.

Room was nice, but not what I paid for

Room was small and next to the basketball goal. We chronically heard the ball bouncing at all hours. I paid for a deluxe villa, but was placed in a regular room. I mentioned this to the host and was told nothing could be done. We were told to drop a few names to get the best of the best. I’m not sure what happened, but this was no where near close. Our room was clean, minus dirty dishes and a can opener that didn’t work. Once washed, the dishes were fine. It really helped us save money by cooking breakfast and dinner daily. We also packed lunches daily, so we rarely ate out. This helped tremendously because we have severe food allergies and eating out is a challenge. Many of the tourist sites were close by and an easy drive. I really wouldn’t call it a resort, but we did enjoy having a nicer place than an average hotel room. Next time we will request a room that isn’t by the basketball goal. Other than a few quirks, we would probably stay again.

Pigeon Forge trip

The property is very clean and pretty. Room was spacious and we enjoyed the fireplace and small kitchen. Foldout couch was a challenge for me to pull out (possibly just not used a lot so stiff. Master bed was very comfortable.

Time share property

We enjoyed our stay but was surprised upon check in that to get your car pass you go through time share representative ( not pushy at all ) to try to get you to sign up for time share presentation. We DID go to presentation and received great gift for our time. Most would like to know it is time share property up front which we were not aware of. The section we were given was older section as far as unit furniture , clean , but older. We were there for four days and never saw housekeeping the entire time. Re-used towels and had to go to office for coffee since we were given two day supply. Staff we encountered was very pleasant. They even gave us a box of saltwater taffy with lovely card when they found out it was our anniversary. Overall experience was good and could recommend staying.
